Thomas

• Vanished - At around 2 AM on February 11, 2020, Thomas Addington disappeared. This happened to be the same time that everyone felt something "change" with their Glimmer. He is assumed to be lost, although he has never been reported missing or dead to the authorities. His estate and affairs are being tended to by Margaret for now.

• Stroke - In the early fall of 2019, Thomas suffered a stroke. He was hospitalized for several weeks, and never really recovered. He lived with his sister at her home, and had round-the-clock nursing care.

• But What Really Happened - Thomas was haunted by the spirit of the dead serial killer, William Gohl. After Billy's spirit was exorcised, Thomas fell ill. He had been sickly ever since.

• Not the Boss - For most of his life, although he was the CEO of the Addington Sawmill, everyone knew that Margaret Addington really ran every aspect of the family business.

• Alcoholic - Although he was really careful about hiding it, the town circulates with rumors that he's been an alcoholic for years now - possibly since his wife, Elizabeth Roberts-Addington, passed away in the mid-80s.

• Drug Addict - Lately, people have whispered that Thomas had taken things a step further, and was abusing prescription pills. Which is just what a man in his late-70s needs.

There's evidence that Thomas was probably handsome in his youth, but he's sliding fast into the end of old age. His shoulders stoop now, and his once-sharp brown-hazel eyes are now clouded and faded. He still stands an inc over six feet tall when he straightens up, but that happens so rarely these days. Wrinkled, sagging skin has a yellowish cast to it, and it's not uncommon to find him smelling strongly of peppermints (over the top of whiskey, perhaps?). Although his clothes are expensive, they have a perpetual look of being wrinkled, and his silvery-brown hair is always somehow askew, his glasses either lost somewhere or smudged.
