Yossi

• Priest or Reverend: Lacking the normal clerical trappings and doctrinal appearance, Yossi is something of an odd duck in this regard. Still, he's ordained as a non-denominational metaphysical minister and has extensive training as a priest. He's always happy to act as spiritual guide and counselor--a safe space for the lost.

• Scholar and Mystic: Chasing and researching the spiritual mysteries has been part of Yossi's life's work for decades, and as such he's always excited at the opportunity to learn, share, or officiate, be that as simple as meditation or yoga, or as complicated as weddings or more obscure rituals.

• Sacred Artist: Formally educated in the practice of sacred art--works inspired by religion or produced for religious purposes--Yossi gladly accepts commissions both sacred and mundane (within reason). His primary mediums are oil paints on canvas and stained glass, though he has produced many kinds of art, from illuminated texts to ritual tattoos.

• Vows of Honesty and Compassion: Yossi has vowed for various reasons to never lie and always treat souls as compassionately as he is able, the latter over the former when they are in disagreement. For example, promises to keep secrets on compassionate grounds are still binding, but he is extremely discriminating in the kinds of secrets he is willing to keep--confessions, for example.

• Traveler and Wanderer: For a very long time, Yossi has been mobile. He's quite worldly and can speak to the culture of many places and peoples. He's also lived in the wilderness off and on, and while he would never claim any great skill, he can survive for a time.

• Veil/Glimmer Lore: He's hungry for it.

Tall and sturdy, this man has the broadness and build of a fellow unafraid of physical labor, and who exercises and eats extremely well. His complexion is Mediterranean--olive, clear, and healthy, but mature, suggesting a man in his 30s. He wears his hair easily shoulder-length, colored somewhere between walnut and chestnut, often keeping his bangs pulled back, or the entire mane tamed into a bun. It's richly-textured, thick and wavy, and he clearly keeps both it and his full beard in good condition. The latter varies, but is usually kept short-medium in length. His jaw is strong, brows emotive, eyes dark, and smile bright, radiating receptive warmth.

His choice of clothing is usually simple, consisting of earth-toned linen button-downs or light cargo-trucker jackets over white tees or tanks. He's almost universally seen in jeans and hiking or worker boots, as if he's always prepared to travel somewhere, and comfortably. Prayer beads are usually worn loosely around his neck or wrists, as well as necklaces with some spiritual significance. Equally likely are shemagh scarves or handkerchiefs around his neck or tied to an arm. He also likes nice shades.
