Text

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Hey, I was just curious if you experienced something weird and possibly dreamlike the afternoon before the storm hit?

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Yeah. Was almost like a flashback.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I'm not going to say this is the first time I've dreamt of being a child. It's not. This is the first time where the rest of you showed up in that type of dream though.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Yeah. I've never seen the rest of you in them before. Did you ask Lilith and Geoff if they had one too?

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Yeah. I actually got trapped on Elm during the storm last night. Lilith wanted to talk about the dream, so I went over there. Then we were swept into... Let's just say, we got pulled into a lot of shit. Heard some guy with a froggy voice calling out for Bill, I think it was. But then he disappeared into the sewer tunnels.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Bill? Bill who? So I guess that means Geoff probably had the dream as well. Do you think that means maybe my mom did too, wherever she is? She was in it..

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I sent a message to Geoff, but he hasn't responded. And.. I'm not sure what this means. I mean, we weren't in the same place when this happened. I was on in the middle of a business call before I found myself at your house.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: I was at my house and found myself in my house, so it wasn't that weird for me. Just, you know.. being like 11, was a little disconcerting afterward.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: You're telling me. Uh... Vivian was home when it happened. She said she was looking all over the apartment for me, but found my phone in my office. She had to tell my client that there's been an emergency.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Still a little weird to talk about it, these dreams, in the way that we know them to be.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Yeah, that's the way that I understand it works. You're there, and then you're just not there anymore, like you wandered off or something. Dawn's told me it's happened a few times at work.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Have you ever spoken to your employees regarding these dreams?

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: No.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I'm just asking because eventually, with Vivian, I might have some explaining to do.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Vivian's a little more than an employee, though.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I didn't know what to tell her when she checked the whole apartment for me and I wasn't there. And then a few minutes later, I'm suddenly back.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: So I told her what I'd experienced and witnessed, the dream, more than what may have happened or where I'd been.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Yeah.. that'd be complicated. I've usually just made some excuses, and for the most part no one's ever questioned it.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: My concern is. Since her arrival in town, she also has that light within her. A slight one. Not that mine is as overpowering as some of yours.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: That part was a joke.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: So, she's going to start experiencing the same things, if she hasn't already. May as well prepare her for it.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I was afraid of that.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: It's going to happen. It always happens, here. Better to assume it will than not.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Try explaining all of this to a psychiatrist.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: One of my tenants, you might remember him, Easton Marshall, he got himself into a car accident after trying to shoot at a ghost... Vivian was there when we checked in on him. She offered advice to both he and his girlfriend, I believe, if you remember Bennie Oakes? Anyway, Vivian was concerned that Easton was delusional and told Bennie to contact her if things worsen.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: Sortof. He was kind of an ass, wasn't he? And yeah, I remember Bennie. She works at the diner. But yeah, I am guessing she's just going to have to experience it, then.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Yes, it's that Easton. In his drug addled mind, he tried to bring it up when we checked in on him. Told me that I could punch him in the face once he's healed.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I might take him up on that offer.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: Though he probably doesn't remember making it.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: You should punch him anyway. Not remembering the offer doesn't rescind it.

(TXT to Tobin) Byron: I agree. And I had witnesses.

(TXT to Byron) Tobin: See? Perfectly legit.
