(TXT to Itz) Minerva : Did you enjoy the babka?

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : hi, you busy?

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : No, it's why I was texting. 🙂

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Right. That would make sense. What's up

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Babka! Jesus you'd think I had a hole in my head. It was fantastic.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : It's no problem, sometimes we miss things. I'm glad you liked the babka.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : And the rugelach, and the apple cake, and the flourless sorta cheesecake thing. And everything else. It was amazing. How are you doing?

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : Yeah, my dad kind of goes overboard, but he means well. I'm alright, I was staring at your number and wondering if I should text or wait.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : (Itzhak is typing...) Well, no need to wait, right? Or is that a thing. I dunno. Is that a thing?

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I guess I didn't want to text immediately and come off weird. I get sort of self conscious sometimes. 🙂

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : That wouldn't be weird. I don't think it would be weird. Then again, I didn't text you right off the bat because I didn't want to be weird. So who's the real weirdo here?

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Me. The answer is me.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : How about we are both weird? :p

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : I'm okay with that. I like weird. Did I tell you your outfit is great? Your whole look is great.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I'm glad that you like the look. Kind of wasn't at my best when you dropped in at the bakery. And the whole tall, mysterious with the tattoos is a nice look as well.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : You probably get that a lot though.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Okay, I literally have no idea what to say now. Other than I must be ruining the whole mysterious thing for you. The terrible truth is I'm a dork.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : I can't say I hear that so much! So...it's pretty nice to hear. Thanks.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : What's wrong with being a dork? And no, there's still mystery about you. Like the tattoos and things of that nature.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Nothing, other than being a dork. So if that the other day wasn't your best look, your best might be hazardous to my health.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : Now do you blush when you type stuff or just when you're talking to pretty girls face to face? 🙂

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Oh my God, don't call me out like this.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Can I ask, what's it you like to do? Other than tormenting helpless mechanics.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I will save tormenting for face to face then. Noted.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I like reading, researching, dealing with weird stuff that happens around town, going to the beach. Torturing helpless mechanics.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I'm also not this forward in person. I'm sure we're both shy and the medium helps break the ice.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Ah, well, I'm not either, if that wasn't obvious. Forward.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : So what's a good beach around here?

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I won't torment too much then. There's the rocky beach that most people go to. It's nice when it's hotter in town.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : I didn't say you had to stop. 🙂

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Maybe you should show me around there sometime? God knows it's hot.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : Well, I didn't say I was going to stop. And I would love to show you around. I could pack a lunch if you like?

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : That sounds great. Love it if you packed a lunch. Anything I should bring?

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : Just yourself really. Do you have allergies or anything? I know it's an odd question, but don't want to pack something that makes you choke up.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Not me, one less thing to worry about there.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : This is good to know. 🙂 So what day would work better for you with work and all?

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Does your family keep Shabbos?

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : They do, yes.

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Then how about Sunday? Unless you want to walk.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : I don't mind walking. It's sometimes nice. I'm not hard to schedule things with so which would you prefer?

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Yeah, I'd actually like Saturday. It'll be nice. Like when I was a kid.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : That will give me something to look forward to then. Saturday it is. 🙂

(TXT to Min) Itzhak : Me too. Saturday, got it on the calendar.

(TXT to Itz) Minerva : It was certainly a Monday, so I'm waiting for the weekend to be better.
