Text

(TXT to Eli Eve) Declan : Hey.

(TXT to Declan) Genevieve : Declan, how are you doing?

(TXT to Eve) Declan : Good. Is Eli busy? Should I not text?

(TXT to Declan) Genevieve : He's lying right here with me, he can see my phone. How are you?

(TXT to Eve) Declan : Good. Hey Eli. Let's grab lunch sometime this week. How're you, Eve?

(TXT to Eve Declan) Eli : I'm here! Just didn't have my phone in my hand.

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : There. I'm doing fine, Declan. I hear you've been well too! When are you coming to visit?

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Whenever you'd like. It'd be late most nights, but I think I'm off Thursday this week.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Hopefully I can drag Dahlia over. 😉

(TXT to Eve Declan) Eli : Hope so! I met her for coffee yesterday. Sounds like you two had a good date.

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : Thursday sounds good to me, but honestly, any time works. We've been homebodies lately. Yes, how was your date, Declan? 😃

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Quiet.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : She's amazing.

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : She is that. I'm glad it went well.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : I'd say more but I'm not really sure how much I should say. It was a quiet dinner, and then lots of fun. Thanks for pointing us at one another.

(TXT to Eve Declan) Eli : Yeah, really good to hear it went well from both sides. Dinner and fun. I'm thinking you don't mean mini-golf. 😉

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : Is there mini-golf around here? That sounds fun.

(TXT to Declan Genevieve) Eli : Also, I'm game for lunch sometime too. Most days I can make it work if I have a bit of a heads up.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : No mini golf. And yeah, that does sound fun. Cool. I'll text you sometime in the morning this week.

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : Drat about the mini golf. How are things down at the bar, Declan?

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : I'll try to find a course. Lol. They're good. Still busy. Getting to know the regulars, still. How're things at the shop?

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : Doing well, thinking about hiring someone part time.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Sales?

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : Yeah. They'll have to get licensed by the state, but it's not difficult.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : If I come across someone I'll mention them to you, or I can send them your way?

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : That would be appreciated very much, Declan. Thank you.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Cool. I'll do my best.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : So, tell me something.

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : If we can, sure.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Dahlia and I never got to talk about that scrape on her arm. She sounded pretty beat up about it. You don't have to tell me what happened, you can if you want, but are you guys okay?

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : We're okay now. I don't know if a text message is a good place to discuss it, but..things are okay now.

(TXT to Declan Genevieve) Eli : Yeah, likely a bit much to get into here. It was a rough few days, but I think all of us are doing alright. Physically everyone is fine for sure.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : I can live with that.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : I'm glad you guys are okay, too. If you want to talk about it later, I'll be all ears.

(TXT to Eve Declan) Eli : I'm thinking Dahila will want not talk about it too, when she's ready. It will be good for her to have someone she can trust to talk to that isn't us. You know how this town can be and she has been away from it for awhile.

(TXT to Eve Declan) Eli : Will want to talk. I can't type it seems!

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : Yeah. If she needs or wants to talk, I'll be around.

(TXT to Eve Eli) Declan : I'll text you some morning, Eli. I'll also check my schedule so we can hang for dinner or in the evening on Thursday. TTYBS.

(TXT to Declan Eli) Genevieve : (it takes a few minutes but a reply comes) Eli looks forward to lunch or breakfast, Declan. I look forward for dinner. Text Dahlia, see if she wants to come too.
