(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Hello Alexander. This is Violet. Violet Whitehouse.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Miss Whitehouse, it is good to hear from you, always.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Someone came to my shop. Her name is Teresa. She works at the Pourhouse.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: She has a map.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: The bartender. Yes. She mentioned it. An antique map of some sort? I referred her to you, since she said she wanted to sell it. Sorry if it's worthless.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: It's Doctor Marshall's.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: She was There. She found his car. The map was in the car.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: wtf
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: <attached is a picture of a photocopy of the map> she wouldn't let me have the original. I have a copy. But she can get there. On purpose.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: !! We theorized, but I didn't expect...amazing.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: I saw something. When I touched the map. It was.. I think Doctor Marshall, he was saying 'not here, not today' and 'x marks the spot'.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: This map has a LOT of Xs, Miss Whitehouse.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Maybe one of them is the hospital, Alexander.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Maybe if we found the car, the car could drive us to all the X's. We would need the keys.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: That's not a poor hypothesis. Is she willing to help us scout?
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: I asked. She said she would.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Dr. Glass knows where the keys were left. She'd recognize them, too.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Then that is what we'll do. We'll find the keys. We'll find the car again. Then we can find Alice.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: There's also a friend of mine, Easton Marshall. We first spoke in his bar. He's related to the 'good' Doctor. And he has a lot of guns. That might be useful.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Can we trust him?
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: I am learning that I am a very bad judge of character, Miss Whitehouse, but while I choose many people I feel affection for poorly, I don't think he's one of them. Short answer: yes, I think so.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: I'm sorry, Alexander.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: For what? You're not...I didn't mean YOU. You're lovely.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: I might hurt you. I might be leading you to your death. I am not a good friend.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: I don't agree with that last statement, at all. I conditionally agree with the first two. You won't intend to hurt me, though. And while I might die, these days that's just my day-to-day life. My leg is currently in stitches because I tried to go on a date. There's no safe place, so I might as well do something that might help somebody.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Will you promise me something, Alexander?
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Depends on the promise.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: I will do whatever I have to, to make sure you don't get hurt. To make sure you come back safe. But if something happens to me, will you watch over Alex? I know he is.. different. But I need to know that he will have someone there for him. If I can't be.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: You do realize he doesn't like me, right?
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: That isn't true
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: He does like you. He cares for you. He just.. shows it different, than you and I would.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: You are the only person that I trust, outside of him. And I can't ask him to watch over himself.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: We'll agree to see things differently. But I will do my best. He may not want it. But I'll do whatever he lets me do.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Also, Violet, that is terrifying. I don't even trust myself.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Well you should. Trust yourself.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Look. We'll find where your sister is. We'll get her back. You and she are going to have a happy goddamned reunion, and drive Alejandro absolutely up the wall for the rest of his life. All right?
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Yes. I hope so. We will plan for that.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: Thank you.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Don't thank me. Just...look. Just have a good life. With good things in it. You deserve it, and never deserved the way this town treated you. Or your sister.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: You deserve a good life, too. I hope your next date doesn't hurt your leg.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: I think I'm going to put that back on the shelf for another decade or so. But. I will say - you might want to do initial explorations without me. My leg's still healing and I've got some sort of odd ailment. Not at my best for jumping into hellish nightmarescapes voluntarily.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: I'll contact Easton, see if he can go with you and Teresa and maybe Dr. Glass?
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: I will see if Alex can help you with your leg, if you want.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: It's fine. I don't want to bother him. It's healing well. Just needs time and for no one to try and kill me for a week or two.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: All right. Well. Rest. We'll figure the rest out soon.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: I will. But, Violet?
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: Don't call yourself a bad friend again. I've had some very bad friends. You're not.
(TXT to Alexander) Violet: All right. I won't, I promise. Thank you, Alexander. You are a very good friend, too.
(TXT to Violet) Alexander: ::smiley face emoji::
