Dahlia was sprawled out on the couch watching a movie and generally being lazy. She didn't have to work at either job. She didn't want to work on the trailer and it was probably a good idea to give Declan a break. She was in a pair of flannel pants and a pink tank top. Hair left down, a little tusseled from her moving around. She had peeked on Justin to let him know she was going to be hanging around and that he was welcome to join in the vegging out when he wanted to take a break. The coffee table had become the snack table as it had some chips and cookies and such laid out. All non-drug filled! She was feeling a little twitchy from her few instances with cocaine recently and was trying to curb it.

Justin had gone out for a run early in the morning and come back, showered, and settled in for some work for a bit before drifting out into the livingroom. He wanders over toward the couch in a pair of jeans and plain dark blue t-shirt. He leans over and grabs a cookie, taking a bite before saying, "Hey, Dahl. How's it going?" He lifts her feet and drops them back into his lap after he settles in.

Dahlia looked over at Justin came to join her, giving a grin. Shifting a little and wiggling her toes once her feel were laying in his lap. "It's going. It's greattttt not having to move a muscle. My body feels like it never wants to move ever again." She laughed. "How's your work stuff going?" Quirking a brow, lifting her bottle of water from its spot on the floor to take a sip.

"Work is going alright," Justin says with a shrug, "Fraught with bugs, and delays, and all kinds of random bullshit the past few weeks, and it just seems to keep on going. I'm hoping that we finally get some of it resolved this weekend, because I'd really like to stop having emergency meetings about it." He takes a bite of his cookie and says, "Relaxing sounds good, though."

"Emergency meetings are the worst." She agreed. "I hope it gets all fixed up too. You need some down time." There's a touch of a smirk that flashes over her features. "Speaking of downtime. How's things going with your new friend?" Stefano, obviously, with that look she was giving him. "He seems like he's fun."

"I do," Justin admits with a bit of a grin. "But I am managing to have some fun despite the schedule lately." When she asks about Stefano he grins at her sidelong and raises both brows before reaching for another cookie. "I'd say they're going well. He stayed the night the other night." After she had gone off to soak and sleep post-strip club opening.

"Ooh la la." Dahlia giggled, sitting up a little. "I'm glad you're havin' fun. He does seem nice, and it was nice a him to fix me." A glance towards her arm and then back up to him. "And he's pretty easy on the eyes. Please continue encouraging walking around with no shirts on." Teasing in her tone. "I'll need to have Declan come inside one of these days when he drops me off so you can meet him. I don't know what we are, but we're having fun."

"If you had showed up a little bit earlier, we were naked in the pool," Justin tells her with a chuckle as he finishes off his cookie. "I told him I doubted very much that it would shock you." He realizes he just ate two cookies with nothing to drink, and lifts her feet for a moment to go into the kitchen to get himself something to drink, and refill hers if she wants before he comes back, settling back in. "He is, indeed, a very good looking man." Then he grins and says, "Yes, you should bring him by. I am guessing he was the after-party?"

Dahlia grinned. "Hell, I mighta joined you. It wouldn't have bothered me none with the eye candy and whatnot." There's a chuckle, letting him get up and sitting up when he does so she's sitting a little more upright now. "How'd you even meet 'im?" Quirking a brow. There's another grin when Justin asks about the after-party. "He was. Well, I went to him after the charity dinner. Sorta a first date thing? I just needed a distraction...and he's a very good distraction." She giggled. "I think you'd like him. He's also a very good looking man."

"Yeah, I didn't figure that it would have bothered you at all," Justin laughs. "I was out running on the boardwalk and stopped for a break. He was standing there, and we got to talking. He offered to buy me a drink, so we went over to Two if by Sea." He grins a little then. "Decided to show him around Gray Harbor a bit, see if I could help him get settled in, you know, with no selfish ulterior motives there at all." There were definitely selfish ulterior motives there. "Good for you," he says, and offers her a high five, for very needed distractions. "Well you'll have to bring him around so I can check him out."

"Oh yeah. So gentlemanly of you." Dahlia teased with a chuckle as he talked about showing Stefano around. Drinking some more of her water, she sighed contently. "I will! We'll have to get them both in the same room so we can compare." Eyes sparkling with amusement. "Though, I dunno. He swings both ways too so I might have to be careful." Leaning over to grab the bag of chips and eat a few of them. "Is Stefano into both or just guys?" Raising a brow. "Well, either way, you two should drop by the Cabaret sometime to say hey! Or Firefly for a drink!"

"Very. I'm a total gentleman," Justin says with an easy laugh. He takes a sip from his glass and then shakes his head, "He's just into guys, Stefano, that is." He shakes his head with a grin, "Like I'd ever hit on someone you were with while you were with them." He gives her a little nudge. "That would very much /not/ keep my gentlemanly image." He then nods and says, "Could probably drop by the Firefly. We haven't been there yet, to grab a drink."

"That's true. It wouldn't. Though if I got to watch I might not complain too much..." Dahlia let her words trail off and then she giggled again. "I look forward to it then! I like the atmosphere there on the weekends when everyone's dancing and stuff. And it's busy. I love it." She shifted, relaxing against him and glancing towards the TV again. "Declan's a bartender too. At the Pourhouse. So maybe we'll have to just make a bunch of drinks for you guys. He made this peach sangria the other day that was amazing."

Justin raises both brows a little bit and asks, "You'd like that? To watch, I mean?" He leans forward and grabs something from the snack table, a chip or two, and then nods, "We'll have to come out then, then. He was asking about gay clubs. Sadly, I told him we'd have to go in to Seattle to find any. No such animal in little Gray Harbor." He lets one hand drop to her ankle and leaves it there. "Double bartender drink-a-thon. That sounds dangerous. Fun, but dangerous."

"I mean, I'd probably end up wanting to join in." Dahlia admitted with a laugh. "But...sometimes just watching can be fun. I learned that during the whole porn thing." She says it without thinking about it. And there's a beat of pause. Dahlia had never really come out and told Justin that the bulk of those acting gigs she'd had last year were doing porn. But she then continues on like she said nothing odd at all. "Totally dangerous. But dangerous is fun." She flashed him a grin as she set the bag down. "Besides everyone can use a little danger in their lives now and again." Says the girl who literally just keeps putting herself in dangerous situations like she has a death wish. Anyway...."Seattle, yeah they've got everything. I'm gonna drag Eve up there soon so I can get some new outfits for some dances."

Justin notices her pause and then he smiles a little. "I knew," he admits, "I've seen a few of them." That he watches porn of various types is no real secret, and he'd stumbled across hers when they were back in L.A. He just never said anything, figuring she'd tell him when she felt like it. "Dangerous can be fun. I think that'll need to be a thing, then." He stretches out his legs and puts his feet up on the end of the coffee table that is not occupied with snacks.

There's a subtle sort of relaxation of her shoulders when he says he knew. Like good, she didn't have to do any explaining then! "Yeah?" When he said he's seen a few, but doesn't seem to be pushing for any further commentary on it. "It totally is fun." Danger that is, snagging a cookie for herself now. "I'll hit him up soon and see what his schedule's like. I'm sure we can work it out. He's also a handy man. So, you know, if anything needs fixing, we can have him take a look! Useful to know a handy man." Nibbling on the cookie.

"Mhmn," Justin says and grins a bit when she relaxes. "You didn't think I'd judge or anything, did you?" He gives her ankle a little pat and says, "You're hot, and I'll admit that I do like watching." He laughs when she says that he is a handy man, and then raises both brows at her again, "Now /that/ sounds like the start of a porn movie."

There's a sparkle of mischief in her eyes, but whatever she might want to say is filed away for now. Shaking her head. "Nah, I didn't think you would. It just feels weird to bring up sometimes." She took another bite of her cookie and stifled a giggle. Swallowing, and also another sip of water. "Oh god you're right. Well. Now I know how I'm going to get him next time." She grinned. "That trailer does need a few things looked at..." Giggling again as she stretched some. "I'll let you know how that one goes." Settling back into her seat. "So, you got any other plans going on tonight?"

Justin regards her quizzically whens he seems to be holding back, but he doesn't press, instead just seeming to relax a bit and glance over toward the TV to try and figure out what's on the screen before looking back over. "You should. And do let me know how it turns out." He laughs a bit. Then he shakes his head, "No plans tonight. You?"

"Well now that you've put some ideas in my head..." Glancing towards where her phone was laying on the coffee table but then shook her head and grinned back over to him. "Nah, I should give him a rest. So it looks like I'm just gonna be hanging out with you until you get bored of me. Might order some barbecue or burgers or something." A glance towards the kitchen. "One of these days maybe I'll learn to cook." Though that shudder following the statement begs to differ. "Oh, question." her gaze sliding back towards him. "Can I use one of the extra bedrooms for like a craft space? My room's getting a little crowded with my sewing stuff."

Justin laughs as he follows her gaze over toward the phone and says, "You wearing him out?" He chuckles and says, "I can cook a little bit -- nothing really fancy, but enough to make something edible if you don't feel like ordering out." He nods when she asks about using one of the spare rooms and gestures upstairs with his head, "Pick whichever one you want. I can help you move the furniture out and set up a craft room."

"More like we're wearing each other out." Dahlia giggled. "It's always fun though." She shook her head. "Nah, not tonight at least. But maybe sometime soon. Maybe I'll even learn a thing or two. I know I can't really live off take out stuff forever." She looked up towards the second floor with another grin and back to him. "Perfect. I'll pick one soon and we'll get it set up. Gonna have to move the sewing machine from the trailer to here too. I'm almost done with everything there. But." She sighed. "I dunno. As much as I hated living there, I think I'm going to keep it for now. Unless someone rolls into town who really needs a place to stay. Just a lotta memories and stuff."

Justin nods his head and says, "There's no reason not to keep it. You can always just get it all cleaned out, cover up the furniture in there, make sure that the connections aren't on so that no accidents happen, and leave it there essentially in storage until you decide wht to do with it, or use it for something or someone." He gives her leg a little pat and a squeeze. "In the meantime, we can get stuff set up for you here so that you have plenty of room to do the stuff that you want to do."

Dahlia gave his hand a squeeze in return. "I love you, you're way too good a friend sometimes I think.' Dahlia chuckled softly. "I'm gonna figure out a way to repay you for everything sometime." She nodded then. "Gtting back into sewing has been a good thing I think...the wear and tear on mom's wedding dress is almost done. And I need to repair one of Declan's shirts...might try to make a few outfits for myself besides when I get in Seattle."

"Hey, what are best friends for?" Justin asks and then shakes his head, "I really like having you here, Dahl. It's too big a house and too quiet to just be in it by myself. And you shouldn't be in that trailer by yourself, either. I think things just came together in the right way at the right time." He nods about the sewing and says, "Well, I'll know where to bring my clothes to when they get tears and rips. Not that they do often, but.. having an in-house seamstress sounds kind of cool."

"I think they did too. I'm really glad you're here in Gray Harbor." Dahlia flashed a grin. "Sure thing. It's the least I can do. Just give a months notice in advance if you need some fancy suit for a party or something." Teasing some. "But, really, if you do see something you'd like made, I'd totally do it for you. Or try. I'm not an expert, but I'm getting better. The most I ever made for school was skirts and just embellishing stuff I bought second hand."

"I'll let you know," Justin says with a bit of a grin. "But I was thinking more along the line of fixing a lost button or a seam that came undone at the hem more than an entire bespoke suit. But, you never know. If you're some kind of sewing prodigy, maybe I will have you make me something for more boring charity dinners."

"Lost buttons and broken seams I can definitely do for ya." Dahlia nodded matter-of-factly. "And those are much less intimidating." She grinned. "I'll make you a suit and Stefano can give me a free massage. That's definitely how that works, right?" Laughing as she retrieved another cookie.

Justin laughs and says, "Or you could make me a suit, and I could pay him to give you a massage, which is probably how it should work." He smiles then and says, "It has been a week, but this is nice." He then looks up toward the ceiling and says, "Did I tell you that my mother called? She said she's having her agent send over a script for us to look at."

Dahlia laughed with him "I guess that sounds like how it can work." She winked. "This is nice. It feels like everything's been moving at a thousand miles per minute. It's good to just chill with you." Then there's a touch of intrigue. "Oh?" Maybe some surprise too. That his mother actually did it. "That'll be fun! What kind of movie is it? Did she give you any details?"

Justin shakes his head, "She wouldn't give me any details. All she said was that she was sending it over and that we had to both at least read it and consider it, and that she'd give me a call next weel. I assume we'll get it sometime this week." He grins and shrugs his shoulders, "She sounded too excited for her own good."

Dahlia laughed. "Oh lord..." Shaking her head. "I dunno if I should be excited with her, or terrified that she's got us potentially wrapped up in something crazy." Running a hand through her hair. "I'm looking forward to it though. It'll be fun to at least do a look through and maybe even run a few lines for the heck of it."

"Anything is possible, I suppose. Though I don't think she'd get us into anything too crazy. Though it could be something like a period piece in some frozen wasteland or in the heat of the jungle somewhere where we'd spend all night freezing or sweating our asses off," Justin chuckles. "That, I wouldn't put past her."

"As long as I don't have to actually go to antarctica for shooting scenes, I'd be okay with that." Dahlia mused. "I'd rather lose clothes than have to keep piling them on you know? And I've got no desires to accidentally freeze to death." Reaching over for her phone now so she can set up to get food delivered.

"I have no idea what it is or whether on-location shooting is going to be a thing or not. We'll have to look it over and see what it is that she sent us, then figure it out from there," Justin says with a grin and a shrug of his shoulders. "I honestly didn't think she'd actualy do it, but she did, so may as well take a look."

"I didn't think she'd do it either." Dahlia agreed. "She must really want you in the limelight again. But. Yeah, she did it so the polite thing is to look it over." Dahlia agreed, setting her phone back down once food had been arranged. "However it goes - I'm sure we'll have fun doing it."

"She wants to feel like a part of my life," Justin admits. "And she has no concept of computers or programming. She's asked about the games that we produce but she just doesn't get it. The whole nerdy thing isn't her thing. But acting, singing, performing, these are things that we have in common, so she just wants to share something. I get it. I do." He grins over at her, "And if it's terrible we can suffer through it together, or at least mock it."

Dahlia thought that over for a moment, nodding. "I can understand that. Wanting some kind of connection." She agreed. "It's important, even if it's few and far between. Making memories for later. I still remember the few times mom let me play with her make up and playing dress up and stuff." She chuckled.

"Dad and I always had things in common. He gets it. He's kind of a closet nerd form time to time, or at least he tries to be, and he likes video games, so he's actually played some of the games that we make. It gives us something to bond over. I think that's what she's looking for, is that bonding," Justin muses. He then grins over at her and says, "And then you never stopped!" he teases, lightly.

Dahlia grinned at that and then laughed, giving him a nudge. "You're right! Playing with make up and dress up is pretty fun." Chuckling. "Now I just gotta get you to play along with me sometime." Winking, teasing him back.

Justin raises both brows and says, "The only time I wear makeup is when I'm on camera, and only because they make me so that I don't look pasty on set." He chuckles and pokes her in the knee. "Dress up, maybe. That, I could probably swing."

"Oh you've gone and done it now...maybe I'll drag you on my Seattle shopping trip too. And you can put on a fashion show for me and Eve." Dahlia grinned, giving his side a little tickle before she pulled herself up off the couch to retrieve a soda. Around the same time, the door was knocked on - likely food - so she went to go answer it and handle the retrieval of said food!

Justin smirks at that and says, "Maybe," though it breaks into a grin. "I suppose that would depend on what I'd be modeling. But, sure, if you don't mind a guy on your little girls' trip out to the city." He pulls himself up to get a refill on drinks and some napkins for whatever food it was that she got, also clearing some room on the snack table.

"I doubt she would mind. She wants to get to know you better anyhow! More friends and all that." Dahlia grinned, bringing over the containers. Looks like she went with barbecue. Ribs, mashed potatoes and green beans. "And you can scout out some clubs to bring Stefano too! It'll be fun. I'm still working on a day but I'll let you know when I've got it figured out."

"Alright," Justin says with a grin and a shrug of his shoulders, "Sounds like an adventure to me, and I can always check out the clubs while we're there. Just let me know when you guys plan on going, and I'll go with you." He gets out some plasticware and stabs one of the green beans with a fork, crunching on it.

Dahlia fixed her plate, starting to eat the mashed potatos first, nodding. "It'll be fun." She mused. "And if we have that script, maybe we can run a couple lines for Eve and she can by that unbiased third party to let us know how it is." A laugh at that. "If it's got potential or not."

"Maybe," Justin says with a grin. "Weill need to check if it's something that we can share with other people or not." He shrugs his shoulders, and starts with the green beans before making his way into the potatoes. He doesn't take a very big plate, since they already had cookies and chips earlier. "I'm going to need to go running again tomorrow morning to work all this food off." He runs every morning anyway.

"True. We'll see how it pans out." Dahlia eyed him sidelong for a moment about the running. "Oh yeah. At least an extra three miles." Laughing softly. "Or we'll just have to get you up and dancing for a few hours straight. Burn all those calories right off." She teased. She looked at the ribs a moment, then the napkins, and then stood up to get the roll of paper towels instead. Setting them on the coffee table before picking up one of the ribs to start on.

Justin grabs one of the ribs and carefully lifts it, tearing the meat off the bone with his teeth, not shy at all about digging in to the meal. For all his claims of needing to work out more, he'll easily burn off the calories. "Dancing sounds good too, though. Can never have too much dancing."

"Then you'll definitely have a good time at Firefly. Best place for dancing." Dahlia said, wiping her hands off. "I agree though. Never too much dancing. Guess that's why I like the cabaret so much. Getting paid to dance is pretty ideal. Well, so long as you don't mind the stripping part of it." Which, clearly she didn't.

"I wouldn't mind that part of it, but I somehow think my mother would lose her mind if I decided to add stripping to my list of career choices," Justin laughs just a little bit. "Though she might argue that when I was two, I was well into training for the role. They had a hard time keeping clothes on me for a few months."

There was a laugh at that mental image. "Maybe. I mean, we all probably go through a stripping phase at some point. Just, some take to it more than others." Dahlia grinned. "If Antonio ever does a male reveue, I'll have to try and talk you into participating."

"Oh yah, because having those pictures getting out would be great," Justin chuckles. "My mother would lose her mind, Dahl. Lose. Her. Mind." He seems vastly entertained though, "But we should totally get Stefano to do it. I would stare at him on stage any day."

Dahlia gave him a devilish grin. "It'd be such a scandal." She agreed with a giggle. "Ooh yes. I'll stare at him with you. And Declan. And any other hot guys we might come across before then. Make it a real fun nigh of watching." She giggled. "Does he like dancing?"

"He seemed to like dancing with me at the dinner, but I think he liked the idea of scandalizing people who might be shocked to see us together," Justin admits with a chuckle. "I told him there were probably a few people left in the town that didn't know I was bi that might be shocked to see the two of us as dates." He says, "But dancing like stripping? I have no idea."

"Ohh so he's a bit of a troublemaker too, eh? I need to get to know him better." Dahlia mused, giving another grin. "We'll ask him. Get a feel for it. He'd probably do it if you asked anyway though. Well, maybe. I cant' speak for the guy I suppose." A little shrug. "You know what we should do? When we all get together? We should use one of those bath bombs in the hot tub."

"I've only been out with him a few times now," Justin points out. "I don't think I know him quite well enough to know exactly what he would and wouldn't do, but.. you could certainly ask him." He takes another bite of his rib and when he's finished chewing, says, "I think he likes the idea of stirring up the straight-laced a bit." He pauses though and says, "I'm not sure those things are for use in the hot tub, but maybe."

"I mean, we would have to drain it out and refill it afterward, since there's no proper drain...but would add a bit of relaxation and all." Dahlia mused. "I'll totally ask him next time I see him. Stirring up the straight-laced people can be fun. I think we'll get along just fine."

"As long as it doesn't have glitter or anything in it," Justin says, "Because that will fuck up the jets because it will get stuck in there." He chuckles. "It will have to be something that will completely dissolve." Then he grins and says, "I have no doubt that the two of you will get along just fine." He finishes off his rib and reaches for another, not having realized quite how hungry he was.

"Hrm...fair. I'll talk to Eve. Maybe she can make up a few that will be hot tub safe." Dahlia said after a moment of thought. Focusing on her mashed potatoes again. "I hope so. It'd be terribly awkward if we didn't I think." She grinned. "This whole expanding the social circle is a good thing for sure though. Maybe I can even get Eli and Eve in on it. I know they wanna see you again. And meeting Stefano will add to their pool of acquaintences at least."

"There you go. Just tell her what you want to use them for and maybe she can give you something with ingredients that'll work in there," Justin says after making his way through that second rib and digging into his mashed potatoes. "Sure, you can always invite them over, you know. You're welcome to have guests. Anything that needs to be secured for my work is locked up all the time, so I'm not too worried about that."

"Yeah, I know. It's just...weird. I guess. I'm still trying to think of this place as my place too if that makes sense? But yeah. With the weather turning nice. A proper pool party thing could be pretty fun." She set her plate down and wiped her hands one last time before curling back up on the couch.

Since she ordered the food. Justin does the cleanup once they're done eating, bringing everything back into the kitchen and tucking away the leftovers as well as throwing out the trash, leaving the snack table with only a few snacks on it, and their drinks before he wanders back, "If you want to have one, we can do that. You can invite whoever you like. I'll send out an invite to the folks that I know in the area. It'd be fun."

"I think that sounds perfect." Dahlia grinned. "Sometime soon." She agreed. "I'll think on who all I wanna invite. For now, let's see if we can find a good movie to watch."
