The Ex. Not An Ex. The Ex. There have been many relationships in Justin's life, but none that are quite the force of nature that Hyacinth Addington is. They dated off and on when he would come out for the summers, but it's always been an on-again/off-again thing. Sometimes they still attend events together, leading to rumors of whether they might be back on again. (( Mandela Effect: Currently, most of Gray Harbor's NPC residents believe that Justin and Hyacinth got married in June at a 2 day rager and the whole town was invited. ))
Easton was another rich kid summering in Gray Harbor at all the charity events. It was only natural that they'd run into one another.
The personal assistant of Miss Hyacinth Addington. Unflappable, capable, and curious. Likes carnivorous plants. Interesting sort.
They played together on the beach as kids, building sandcastles and running around on the boardwalk. Then one summer, she was just gone. Her parents said she was in the hospital, but never said why, and he hasn't seen her since.
Massage Therapist from New York. Turns out he knows something about this Glimmer thing. Helped name Caleb, the new puppy. Unfortunately, an opportunity back in New York turned out to be too good to pass up.
Vivian's mother is Justin's mother's lawyer, which is how they met growing up in L.A.
- CEO of Lucidwave Games - A popular gaming company with a number of titles including a popular MMO.
- Famous Face - He's done some acting and modeling and was made famous at an early age because of his mother, actress Stella Winstead, and his father, record producer Joss Cooper.
- Media - He's been in the news for his success with Lucidwave and any number of tabloids for everything from how he dresses to who he dates.
- Previous Summer Resident - He and his family would vacation in Gray Harbor during the summers when he was a kid. It's possible that he'd met/made friends during those times.
- Caleb - Minerva found a pile of abandoned puppies, and Justin couldn't help but adopt one. Stefano helped name him.
Justin Cooper was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. His parents were pure Hollywood. His father is a record producer and his mother an actress. He was famous because of who his parents were from the time that he was a child and grew up in the public eye with very little privacy. Despite growing up in Hollywood high society, he managed to grow up a fairly well-adjusted child. Raised primarily by nannies, he learned how to entertain himself at an early age, mainly by taking things apart and putting them back together again. While he's done some modeling and some acting, he's always been more interested in technology.
He had a fascination with electronics and computers, and became a programmer at a fairly young age, entering into competitions when he was in high school, and laying the groundwork for what would later become Lucidwave Games, a highly lucrative gaming company. It was after graduation, when he began working on Lucidwave full time with some college buddies, that Justin's own career took off and he was no longer just famous by association, but for his own successes as well. He's driven and proud of the work that he's done.
But L.A. was beginning to swallow him whole. He felt the need to get out of the city, and move north, somewhere quieter, where he could continue to work with Lucidwave but where he could have a private life, away from all the craziness surrounding his family. There was something about Gray Harbor that appealed to him. He and his family had vacationed there a number of times during the summer when he was younger. There was something about the place whenever he was there. It had a strange feel to it that nowhere else really did. He could feel things, sense things when there that he never could back home, though he always knew something was different about him, something that he sensed in others during those summers. But the memories of what happened were always a little fuzzy around the edges. Now, he feels drawn to the place, and that strangeness, as though there were something within him that he could only really get in tune with there, for some reason. And so now, he has moved to Gray Harbor to set himself up with a quiet home and office to work from, away from the craziness of L.A.
He stands approximately six feet tall, with dark short-cropped hair and blue eyes that are almost grey in hue. He has an athletic build, clearly no stranger to physical activity, though not what would be called bulky or muscular. Appearing to be in his late twenties, he moves with a kind of easy confidence about him most of the time. His clothing tends toward the casual -- jeans, hiking boots, t-shirts, a pair of sunglasses perched on top of his head when not being warn, and the occasional bit of silver jewelry, either in the form of simple rings, or a watch.
