Dahlia had texted Declan, inviting him over to her house. For once. He had seen 11 Bayside Road plenty of times from the exterior, she had yet to actually invite him in to the interior. However, since they were starting to get serious she figured it was about damn time. And maybe some new memories could be made - so she could stand to be the kitchen for more than 5 minutes. Well, that was just the selfish part of her talking.

Anyhow! Dahlia also suggested he bring swim trunks. There was a pool and a hot tub that they could make use of if he so desired. Right now, she's just relaxing on the couch - the door was opened so he could just come on in. Caleb, Justin's dog, was currently with Justin. Wherever her roommate happened to be. So there was no chance of him running out!

Declan eventually arrives. He wears swim shorts and a black tank. And... sandals. He didn't bother to bring a towel or backpack.

After a knock on the door, he pokes his head inside and asks, "Dahlia?" but eventually sees her anyway. Grinning, he walks closer and kicks his sandals off. "Hey." Still grinning, he looks around her place briefly. But he's far too distracting for anything else to keep his attention. Besides, he's a little nervous. Not his space. Not what he anticipated. So, he walks closer, steps slow.

The house is way too big. As all mansions are. Far too big for one person, let alone two. That's why there's three of them now! Since Stefano claimed one of the empty bedrooms.

Dahlia grins when she sees Declan. "Hey baby." Standing up, wearing a baby blue bikini top and a pair of cloth black shorts. Presumable with the bottoms underneath. She closes the distance to give him a kiss. "Guess the polite thing to do might be to give you a tour, huh?" She chuckled. "If you want one."

Declan kisses her briefly, trying not to glance around. "Uhhhh." Smirking, mind running wild, a hand descends down her back and rests on a curve. It pinches briefly. "Um." He turns from her, then back, looking down. "We... can. Sure. We can also just swim. I don't mind." After a shrug, he grips her arms with both hands, rubbing her shoulders, and adds, "I didn't realize your place was this big. Uh. I feel kinda' dumb for inviting you over to mine all those times. Yours is... yeah. We'd have probably had way more fun, here."

"It's still weird thinking of it as my place at all. It's definitely Justin's house. I'm just crashing here. I couldn't afford this is I tried." Dahlia shook her head, easily leaning into his touches and stealing another kiss. "Why don't we go swimming for now. I've got towels out there already and stuff. If you play your cards right - maybe you'll see the upstairs." Teasing him as she turned to lead him through the kitchen to the back patio. "I like your house. We've had plenty of fun there." Opening the sliding glass and stepping out. There's a nice pool and a hot tub connected to it. Lounge chairs, patio furniture. A very nice view of the Harbor too.

"I mean..." Declan follows, looking around. He smirks at the upstairs comment, but he's lost. So lost. All of this?

He steps outside the sliding doors, swallows, and looks down at the pool. It's practically everything he's ever dreamed of. A club. Nice home. Nice view... he stares. Just... lost. "Yeah." He's clearly distracted. "Lots of... yeah. Fun." Leaning to one side, Declan swallows and turns to look at the rest of the view. His attention eventually settles on Dahlia. "I can't believe you had all this and still drove over to my place," he admits. "Like..." his brows narrow. He tries to rationalize things. "I just... don't get it."

Dahlia turns to focus on Declan again, clearly looking puzzled. "What do you mean? Like...why did I go over there instead of just inviting you here all those times. Or...?" And maybe there's a touch of discomfort creeping in but she's doing a good job of keeping it at bay. "I grew up in a trailer park Declan. That I hated. So much. Even in LA. I lived in a shitty apartment" There's a brief glance towards the house. "....Even though I live here, it doesn't feel like any of it's mine. It never will." Well, except maybe the craft room she's been putting together. That was definitely all her. There was maybe more she could say, perhaps even wanted to say, but was biting her tongue.

"I mean," he repeats, watching her. "I don't know, Dahlia. I don't know." He looks back out at the pool, then at the view. Standing quiet, he tries to come to terms with what he's seeing.

"Yeah. Yeah, I guess that's what I'm asking. If you had all this, why'd you bother with my place?" he turns back towards her, gaze not traveling anywhere else. "I know you did. I mean, so did I. I fought hard for what I have. But, this? I don't know. I just expected... something else. Something close to me." Clearly jealous, he waits for whatever he answer is. His shoulders hunch, clearly vulnerable, but he doesn't look off again.

Dahlia is quiet, watching him, and really trying hard to think before she speaks. She shouldn't have invited him over. She knew it was going to get weird, didn't she? Money made things weird. Maybe that was why she never truly made it big. She held back, she had no idea what to do if she had the kind of money Justin had. Did she even really want the stress of that kind of money? Slow inhale. Slow exhale. "Declan. You could live in some barely functioning one room apartment above a questionable Chinese restaurant and I'd still want to be there. Because you're there." She rubs the back of her neck lightly.

"...All of this is just...temporary. I can't envision myself in a place like this forever. Justin is my bestfriend and I'm thankful for everything he's done for me. But...I feel more comfortable in your house than I do here. When I really sit and think about it. " And there were no risks of interruptions at his place, BUT that was a minor thing. An extra icing on the cake.

Declan snorts, laughing a little, and shakes his head. He looks away, but only for a moment. Swallowing, he focuses on Dahlia. He clears his throat. He shifts his legs. He takes... a deep breath. Declan does all the things nervous people do, things he's tried so hard to never, ever do himself. And usually succeeds at.

"Yeah." His throat is cleared again. "Yeah, sure. Okay." Tilting his head back, Declan looks out at that view again. "It's just..." everything he's ever wanted. A place, like a half dozen others, he's worked in before. A fantasy. Something he knows he'll never have, but wants more than just about anything, ever, even though he thought he gave that up a long, long, "Yeah, anyway. Sorry. I'm glad you like my place." Forcing himself to smile, Declan looks a bit like himself again. "And uh. Me." He takes a few steps towards her and wraps an arm around her waist. "Sorry. It's complicated. I mean, all this is fucking great. I'm really happy for you guys. Just... not what I pictured. Complicated. That's all."

There's the faintest tinge of pink that rises on Dahlia's pale skin, but- hey. If there was ever anything she was good at it was bottling up everything and saving it for later. Old habits die hard. She can't help but tense for just a second when his arm wraps around her. She doesn't even know why she's feeling agitated. She'd had similar feelings like what Declan was feeling when Justin had her over here the first time. But, in the end, Dahlia relaxes and puts on a smile. Because it feels like it's been a while since they'd had proper time together and the last thing she wants is to start fighting over nothing.

"I guess, I should have given you a heads up. I'm sorry. Like I said...it's all Justin's. " Nothing to be happy for her about. She slips the hair tie off her wrist so she can put her hair up. Hell. He could probably even move in if he wanted but, that wasn't something Dahlia was just going to throw around. Yet. "So. Swimming then hot tub or Hot tub then swimming?" Trying to get them both to focus on the immediate.

Declan takes a deep breath, air catching in his throat. Then...

He shoves her into the pool. Declan follows right after, stepping in and dropping into the water, and trying to forget the sting of how someone has practically everything he's ever wanted. And he didn't even realize it. But the cold water helps a lot, and so does a wet and soaking Dahlia. He sinks all the way to the bottom of the pool, bubbles rising, before he kicks himself up to the surface. If he makes it up before her, he smirks. Otherwise, he emerges and says, "Swimming, duh. Hot tub's for when we're tired."

Dahlia yelps when Declan shoves her into the pool. The cold water shocking her briefly, well it was a good distraction at least! She comes up, gasping and pushed some of her hair out of her face, spotting Declan who had come up just a second or two sooner. "Jerk!" She laughed, she hadn't even gotten to take off her shorts! But she does now. Wriggling and shifting until the shorts get tossed on to the patio, revealing that yes indeed, she had the baby blue bikini bottoms underneath.

Pushing off the wall, Dahlia moved closer to Declan and grinned again. "Fine, fine. Hot tub last. Especially since we're already in here."

Declan smiles at her, trying to forget the past... ten, fifteen minutes or so. He swims closer, treading water, and says, "I did say I was an ass." Smiling, he dips down beneath the surface of the water, squeezes her leg, and swims off. A moment later, he emerges again. Hair wet, he pushes it back across his scalp and grins over at her. It looks pretty close to a normal Declan grin. "So it's just the three of you?"

There's a little squeak from Dahlia when he squeezes her legs and she chuckles again. Shifting to float some, though kept an eye on him. Glad to see that he was lightening up at least a little bit. "Yeah. Well, 4 if you count the dog. Which, I don't just yet. Though he's a good vegging out buddy." Dahlia conceded. She was, ultimately, not very much a pet person. At least how things stood right now. "Stefano just moved in recently. He and Justin are sort of a thing? Kind of? I'd like you to meet them both sometime soon."

Declan listens, watching. Smiling, he does his best to keep his focus on her. His mind still wanders anyway. To the entry, the living space, the doors...

"Never been a fan of dogs. Too much work. Cats?" he grins. "Love cats. Wish they all loved me." He moves closer, just a few inches away. "Yeah? We'll do it this week. Me, you, the two love birds." He grins wide. "I'll even hit on them. Always lightens the mood." He tries not to look at the glass doors. During the pause, he focuses on her eyes. They're distracting, even without makeup. "I'll bring a salad or something. Or... whatever they like." For a moment, he doesn't sound quite himself again.

"Shit, Justin would be happy with a bagged burger and french fries." Dahlia waves her hand idly, unintentionally spraying him with a little water. "If I'm being honest. I mean, he's probably the most laid back rich guy you'll ever meet. I know he's the most laid back one I've ever met. Even when we were kids - he never acted like he was better or anything you know?" Looking over at him. "And I'd love to watch you hit on them. Admittedly, I'm looking forward to watching all three of you walking around with minimal clothing. Like my own personal harem." She grinned.

"Burger and fries? Sure." Declan closes his eyes when he's splashed. He wipes them, then swims closer. "Harem, huh. Yeah..." Smirking, he dives beneath the surface, swims over to her legs, and lifts her up. Once he's back above the surface, Declan lets her body slide down his. "I'd be down for that. Even if it's just pretend." Looking up at her, Declan continues to focus on her eyes.

Dahlia yelped as Declan lifted her up and laughed, sliding down - though wrapped her legs around his waist and leaned her forehead to his. "Sounds like it'll be a fun time then." Giving him a smile as she studies him. One hand resting on his cheek. "I'm glad we're getting to spend some extra time together. Feels like the days are starting to run together some times." Giving his nose a little nuzzle with her own.

"Same." He turns them, floating into the deeper end of the pool, moving slowly. "If they're running together, let's break them up more." His hands grasp her hips and squeeze gently. "I'll stop taking so much work in the afternoon for a week or two. We'll hang. Go out for lunch. Hit up a matinee." He closes his eyes for a moment, still trying to forget where he is and... how ridiculous, how quaint, that sounds when swimming in a pool with a mansion nearby.

"I would love that." Dahlia nuzzled against his neck then, giving a soft kiss to it, then his cheek. Then his lips in a brief, but sweet kiss. "There's some good movies coming out too." Her arms drape around his neck as she relaxes. "Maybe take a walk through the park, a ride on the carousel." She chuckled at the last bit. "As long as we're together, no matter what it is, it'll be fun." A part of her still regretting bringing him here - maybe it had been too soon. Maybe she should have just invited him to the trailer...but No. She pushed the thoughts aside. It wasn't something she could hide from him forever - so better to get it out of the way now.

Declan's quiet as she kisses his neck and lips, enjoying both. All that sounds quaint, too. But not stupid. It's... "Yeah. Yeah, I'd like that. Seeing you out in the park. I do like walking." The kind of thing he enjoys. That and talking, meeting new people, helping. He's still anxious, regardless. "It means a lot to hear you say that. I uh. I never want to feel like a stick in the mud." His head tilts back again, exposing the side of his neck. Staring up at the home, he swallows. "You know." He clears his throat. "Now you're going to have to show me your room."

Meeting new people, enjoying the nicer summer weather before it's all gone. Hanging out. Those are all good things. "Nah, you may be an old man - but you're no stick in the mud." Teasing him with a giggle as she nibbled at his neck. Her hips pressing up against his. "Will I? Mmm I guess I could..." She nipped at his ear lobe. "Whenever you want to see it."

Declan scowls. "Old man?" he asks, trying not to laugh. "I think I'm going to have to start teasing you with one liners again." His eyes close. "I'm hoping there's all sorts of kinky stuff inside. A swing. Sex toys. Porn posters..." smirking, he chuckles for a moment. "Hot tub first. Not sure when I was in one last. It'll probably feel really good."

Dahlia started laughing at that. "Oh honey, I hate to say that you're gonna be real disappointed." She captured him in another kiss. "But, some of that stuff could be arranged..." A teasing light in her eyes. "Want to move to the hot tub now? Or linger in here a little longer?" Seeming fine with either.

Declan travels over to the side of the pool and pops her up on it, then climbs out himself. If she isn't standing by the time he's out, he helps her. "I'm fucking with you. I kind of guessed you weren't that wild. But I'm a little surprised there aren't a lot of sex toys." He shrugs, still smirking, and makes his way to the hot tub. He takes a deep breath when he feels the warm water against his leg.

"Truth time? Definitely gave most of them to work before I left. Wasn't gonna risk having to awkwardly explain all that to my mom. And definitely didn't wanna have to explain it to Justin. Though, he wouldn't care really. In hindsight." Dahlia laughed, getting to her feet. "I have a couple I kept. You'll see 'em." She winked and followed him over to the hot tub. Letting him step in first before following suit. "Mm...that feels pretty nice..." She sighed contentedly, sinking down into the water.

Declan sinks all the way down too, shivering, and lowers himself all the way to his chin. "Makes sense. I guess I've never really shown you mine. Dated a guy... two and a half years ago? Kinky as hell. Remind me next time and I'll get out the box." He smirks, closes his eyes, and relaxes. Most of the anxiety from before seems to have left. Hot tubs will do that. "So, your mom never knew?" he asks quietly.

Dahlia drifts a little closer to him, resting her head against his. "Oohh yeah, I definitely wanna peek." She grinned a little. "Sounds like we could have some fun with it." Then there was a quiet little sigh. "Never. I mean...not that I knew of. If she knew, or if my brothers know...they haven't said anything." She murmured. "I just talked about my extra parts...or tried to ignore talking about the acting stuff all together. Mostly would just tell her about my waitressing and all. When we did talk. I didn't call home as often as I probably should have."

Reaching over to grab her leg, Declan gently strokes down her thigh and calf muscle. "Oh, we definitely will." Declan winks at her. He listens as she describes the past, nodding. "There's nothing to be ashamed of," he reminds her. "But I can see why it'd be... hard. If your brothers give you shit about it, let me know. I'll stand by you." He rubs down her foot next. "As for your mom... I'm sorry it was tough." He shrugs. "But I think she loved you, and would have no matter what."

Dahlia leaned into his touches, giving a smile to him before closing her eyes. "It's not something you really...wanna write home about you know? I enjoyed the work...some of the time it's just awkward to think about family seeing you like that you know?" A little shrug of her shoulders. "I think she would have too," peeking an eye open to look at him. "And...I will. That means a lot Declan."

"Yeah, I understand," Declan admits. "But there's no shame in it." He repeats himself, but doesn't seem to care. "Sex work is perfectly fine. It's important, even. It gives people safe fantasies. Helps them learn more about themselves. Just picture a girl who watched one of your videos and wasn't... sure." He smiles. "See? You could have helped someone figure out an important part of their lives." He shrugs. "If my kid did that, I'd be proud." He squeezes her leg. "If your mom was still here, she'd understand anyway. You took a shot at the big time, came up a bit short, but you still tried. Most people never have the courage to do that."

Dahlia's eyes opened fully again, wiggling her toes against him a bit and smiled. "I've never thought about it like that. I guess that would be kind of cool. If someone like, realized something about themselves watching some of my stuff." She pushed some of her hair behind her ear. "True. It wasn't all bad and like, sure I never hit the spotlight but I did get some time on the silver screen. And Justin got those scripts in - so we'll be looking at them soon. So it's not like...the dream is totally dead you know? Just on pause." Giving him a touch of a grin and leaning in to give him another kiss.

Declan kisses her briefly. "It's not kind of cool. It's really cool. Wish I could meet the guy from the first porno I watched where I realized I might be into guys. Maybe it's a little silly, looking back, but to a kid that's scary. A big step." He kisses her again, smiling as he does. "Oh, he did? Great. And yeah, that's right. Just paused, waiting for you to hit the play button again." Declan pulls her into his lap, but keeps her sitting sideways.

"It really would be scary, yeah. I could see that." Dahlia agreed, settling into his lap and relaxing against him easily. "I guess I'd never really thought about it much growing up, but I realized after I was LA for a little while that I found some women attractive. Had a few one night stands with some. It's fun, but even though I can go both ways, I'm definitely more into guys." She mused. "Yeah I'll let you know how it goes. We've both been kinda busy lately but I'm going to snag him soon so we can look at them together."

Declan keeps her close, still rubbing her leg. "I think most people prefer one or the other, honestly. I'm mostly into women myself, but... I do go back and forth. I don't know how to explain it. Just sort of happens." He kisses her shoulder. "Maybe in a few weeks we'll find a third for a few nights of fun." Smirking, he quiets for a few moments. "It happens. I'm excited to hear how they turned out, though. You'll have to tell me all about it."

"Sometimes you just kinda of see a person and know you're into them. At least on some level." Dahlia agreed, nuzzling his neck and chuckled. "Yeah? That sounds like it could be fun. A nice long weekend event maybe." Kissing his cheek. "You'll be the first person I call."

"Exactly." Declan's lips linger near her shoulder. "I don't know about nice, but yeah. Definitely... long. Maybe we'll head off somewhere." Looking up at her again, he clears his throat. "Hey um." He nudges her leg, smiles, and adds, "Thanks for showing me your place. I'm sorry I... reacted that way." He inhales deep. "Just surprised."

"Long, adventurous weekend out of town sounds good to me." Dahlia grinned. She reaches up and runs a hand lightly through his hair, sighing softly. "I'm sorry too...I know it's a lot to take in. Like I said, it was a lot for me too when I first saw it. I should have given you some kind of heads up about it."

"Nah." Declan says, skipping past a promised weekend. "Nah, it's... on me." He clears his throat again. "You know... well. How hard I work. What I wanted, when I was first starting out. I'm just not used to it, and uh. A little jealous, if I'm being honest." He tries to smile. "I'll get over it." Muscles tensing for a moment, his eyebrows rise a little. "And I'm glad you like my place. I am. But if it's... I don't know. Too blue collar, or whatever. We can hang here." Even though she said otherwise, Declan waits for her reaction.

Dahlia listened quietly, nodding. "I can't blame you for being jealous. I know I get a little jealous sometimes myself. And I live here." She mused, resting her forehead to his again. "Your place is perfect. It feels...like a home." Dahlia said softly, thinking it over. "Like. Even if this whole house was all mine and I'd bought it and everything...I dunno. I don't know if I could make all this feel like a real home you know? It's just...where I sleep. If that makes sense. But if we want to go swimming or use a hot tub. Then we can hang out here. Otherwise..." Shrugging a little.

Declan rotates his head against hers. "Yeah." He smiles a little. "I think you've been taking pointers from me, Dahlia. That sounds like something I'd say." Wrapping an arm around her a little tighter, Declan relaxes again. He takes one more big breath, smiles, and kisses her gently. "I didn't think I'd rub off on you this fast."

Dahlia returns the kiss, soft and sweet, giving him a smile. "You're a good influence, what can I say?" She kissed him again and snuggled closer. "I heard the Pourhouse is doing Karaoke night. You gonna be there?"

"Of course." Declan grins after the kiss. "I suck at singing, though. I'll probably be behind the bar... I hope." He waits to see if she has more questions, grinning.

"I'm gonna try and be there. I can't sing worth my salt either! But it'll be fun." Dahlia returned the grin. "You ready to see the inside of the house?"

"Yep," Declan replies. He stands, lifting them both up, and sets her down on the first step or landing. "Can't wait." Standing straight, he looks from Dahlia to the doors, and then back. "You go first. I'll be looking at whatever you point at, promise." Smile small, he bends to grab a towel and tosses her one, too.

There's a devilish glimmer in Dahlia's eyes, "Mmhm sure you will." She winked and then grabbed the towel, carefully stepping out. She dries off a little before leading him into the house. "Kitchen," Obviously, "Living room. There's a sitting room over that way but we never use it. Well, I don't at least. The place was all furnished and stuff before Justin moved in so," Dahlia shrugged. "There's a bathroom down that way," as she leads him towards the stairs so she can take him up to the next floor.

Declan smiles, following behind her while wrapping himself up in a towel. He totally doesn't keep his eyes on the tour. He tries. "Wow. You have an unused sitting room. Classic." Declan's seen plenty of those, and he chuckles a little. He glances down at the bathroom, nodding, and follows her to the stairs. "Do you pay rent?" he asks as they go up.

"Yeah, I do. Justin tried to tell me I didn't have to - but I wouldn't take no for an answer." Dahlia muses. She can feel his eyes on her, but she's fine with it. Up the stairs they go! "So, that's Justin's room there. The door across from it is his office. "She motions to the right. "Another bathroom, Stefano's room." She breezes by these. Opening up one of the doors finally. "This is my craft room!" She opens the door. It's a medium-sized room that has a work table, sewing machine, and a couple cabinets for storing things. She lets him linger in there a minute or two if he wants before finally leading him to her bedroom.

This is also a medium sized room - though only because there's a door in it that is open and one can see it's an en suite bathroom. There's a queen sized bed with solid blue bedding. A white dresser and a pretty view of the Harbor from her window. "And here's my room. Home sweet home." She chuckled

Declan looks around, taking in the men's rooms and bathroom, and the office. Smiling, he turns back and follows her into the craft room. Apart from the house it's in, it's... close to how he pictured it. His hands trail across a project or a table, still smiling. "I like it. Yeah. This... I don't know." Declan smiles a little wider as he looks around. "It feels a lot like you. A side of you I haven't seen yet. I want to watch you work sometime." But then he's being lead away and into a bedroom. It's studied carefully, attention eventually settling on the harbor. Walking up next to her, Declan slides a hand around her hip before looking down at her. "Wasn't how I pictured it, but yeah... this reminds me a lot of you, too."

"Yeah?" Dahlia asks when he says wants to watch her, maybe looking a little bashful. "Sure you can. I'm gonna be starting up some pillow projects soon." Her room didn't have many personal touches to it. Not yet at least. She leaned into him, looking out over the view and then smiled to Declan. "Yeah it's missing all the boyband posters and fabric scraps all over the floor." She chuckled, looping her arm around him and giving him a squeeze.

"I did picture... a mess of makeup. Clothes on the floor. Probably a tangle of chords off in a corner. You know, busy-person room stuff. Creative person room stuff." He smirks when she gives him a squeeze. "Posters, too. Dead wrong." A hand slips into her hair. "Make you a deal. Why don't you make us a pair of comfortable pillows, and I'll make you another dresser?"

"Just don't open the closet door." Dahlia says in a conspiratorial whisper before giggling. "And I guess it sorta goes back to that it doesn't feel like my place...so I don't want to be messy." She admitted. Giving a grin. "Comfortable pillows for a new dresser? You've got a deal. Any preference on colors?"

"Why, what's in the closet? Everything going to fall out if I do?" Declan laughs for a moment and glances at it, but doesn't try it. What she says next makes him smile a little. "Yeah... sure. Makes sense." Thinking again, Declan shrugs. "Make it match the colors in my place?" Mostly blues and greens. "Otherwise... just put your touch on it. Make it something you'd like, if they're going to be ours." His eyes focus on her after the last word is spoken.

Dahlia turned to look at Declan for a longer moment when he says that. Ours. "...I'll do that. I can do that." Smiling then. "I already have a few ideas I think." Leaning up to kiss him. "...You're something special. You know that, right?"

"Yeah? Good. When I look at those pillows, I want to think: that's Dahlia and me." Declan tilts his head, grinning, and kisses her briefly. "So are you, Dahlia. But... be careful." Grinning again, his hands descend down her back, under the towel, and grip her ass. "I have a bad habit of saying the right thing. It doesn't make me special. Just means," he squeezes, "I like you. And sometimes that I really, really want to fuck." At least he's honest.

"You are a smooth, smooth talker." Dahlia giggles, letting the towel fall away as he grips her ass. "Oh yeah?" pressing a little closer and that look of mischief is dancing in her eyes again. "Well then, let's christen the room baby." Reaching up to pull him into a heated kiss.

That's all the encouragement he needed. Declan picks her up, pulls her closer, and returns that kiss. A second later, he's walking to the bed... and dumps her on it. Shorts come off, followed by her bikini bottoms.

At some point, they close the door before he's on her again, pinning her to the bed for a long while. An intense twenty minutes pass, and then, still the middle of the afternoon, they're on their backs looking up at the ceiling. What the hell should they do next? Open the closet? Go to the craft room? Use the unused sitting room? Nope. Declan takes her outside to look out at the view with a bottle of wine and... talk. Or sit. Both seem like a good idea with a view like that, one he's never been able to enjoy. When sunset finally rolls around, there's a mention of dinner.
