Lilith needs a lawyer out of Byron and probably should be put away somewhere, but... they're both really good at justifying what happened, honestly.

The Day of...
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I need a lawyer, please. I'll explain as soon as I can.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: What's going on? Are you alright? I've contacted one, waiting to hear word from her.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: How are you feeling? I'm feeling slightly better myself.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I almost killed Katy and called it in as a suicide attempt. Shelves fell on a customer too, which is what the lawyer is for.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Standing in blood talking to the Captain now. I called him first to cover my ass.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: What did Katy do now?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Being useless Katy nearby while I was on the phone with Grant.
[FS3 Rolls]
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: (Very long pause with no dots) Turner called?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Yep. I shouldn't have answered an Unknown number. If he shows up here, I swear...
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Let me know if you hear from him again. Is Captain de la Vega going to help?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: He has someone taking pictures of you leaving my apartment from overnights and god knows what else. Check your car for a tracker next time you go out. I don't trust him.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Maybe. Probably. I don't know. He had to take a call.
[FS3 Rolls]
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Still here talking. We'll see.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Alright.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Keep me updated and I'll let you know when the lawyer gets back to me.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: How are you feeling besides that?
Sometime Later...
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: (after a while) Well. I feel a little better. But I'm kind of on voluntary house arrest.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: So Captain De la Vega isn't giving you trouble about it? Is Katy okay? Was she taken to the hospital?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Seemed more interested in if it'd been happening prior to today. But I haven't been around people til...
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I mean, Byron, the only reason she's alive is because I slashed her forearms, not her wrists. I missed because it wasn't as... reliable feeling when it lashed out.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: ... and I don't really feel all that bad, I just knew I needed to cover my ass. I told the paramedics she cut herself with the daggers on the counter that she was supposed to be cleaning.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Like she went suicidal. Psych was going to happen anyway, heh.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Is Katy up to telling this same story?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Katy doesn't have any clue what happened except that I threw the phone, the shelves blew, and she started bleeding, split open. And she was in shock when they took her, daggers were bloody on the counter where she was leaning.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: This is unlike me, isn't it?
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: (a long bout of bouncing dots) Do you want someone to look over you? "
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: You mean look for ghosts in me?
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: What? No. I mean. I don't know. Make sure that you're calm. I We've both been incredibly sick lately. That can do so much damage to our state of mind.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Being cooped up and miserable for over a week.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Weeeelll. Define someone.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I don't know. Tobin?
[FS3 Rolls]
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Yeah right. Couldn't even get a text after my dad died.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I know he doesn't.. I'm sure he has his reasons.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: There's Geoff, but I don't know if that's a good idea either.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I'm fine.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I know. I'm just worried.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Concerned.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Yeah, well. Is what it is.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I'll stop by later to see how you're doing. I have a few things that I need to finally get down on my end as well.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Sure.
The Next Day...
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I spoke to Brie Ingimarr, a lawyer in town. She is willing to take a look into your case. I've never used her before, so I can't say if she'll be of any help or not. My current lawyer, well, I think I'll be looking for a new one myself. This is her number (XXX-XXX-XXXX). She said that you can also swing by at her office during office hours at (Insert address here). I'll go with you, of course. Just tell me when.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: ASAP, just in case. My savings are starting to wear between numerous matters of bullshit and I still haven't even gotten my hospital bill from my last stay to pay yet.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: This is weird, but when I interview a guy, will you help me interview? I'm not used to doing it for... you know, quality, I just mostly base things on whether I can tolerate their presence, heh.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Don't worry about your savings or those bills. And you're looking to hire someone new?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I'm worried enough to not argue with you, heh. And yeah, shop phone had a message from a guy wanting to talk about working here. Yet to call him back because... well.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: You think that something is going to happen?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Yeah, I don't know. Or maybe I'm still contagious even though I feel better.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Sorry I was asleep when you stopped by. I guess that's just what I do when I attempt murder on accident and lie about it. Sleep like a rock.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I got to watch you sleep though. So it wasn't a total waste.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I like that you got something out of it instead of being scared/disturbed by the idea that I might be secretly a crazy psychopath.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I must be real pretty when I sleep.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Disturbed? I'm not disturbed. Other people seem to be affected by this as well. I'm not sure who was touched by the exorcism, but you're not the only one. If this is the case.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: And if it's not, my crazy is entirely your kink. Mrowl.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Can't say that you were never a hot-head, personally.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Hank used to say I had his old man's temper. I don't know, I had been sick so long, still felt bleh and Grant being on the phone taunting me while she was... grr. I mean. Maybe no ghost required.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Maybe I should blow off some steam in the woods and go get that box.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: It was understandable that you got upset. On top of not feeling well.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Want me to come along? To the wood?
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Yeah. You feeling up for it, though? Your rest has been more partial than my own because you stay so busy.
(TXT to Lilith) Byron: After being stuck at the Apartments for a week? A walk in the woods sounds like a good thing.
(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I'll meet you parked at the trailer so we can do the shortcut.
