Text

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I'm tired of working, call me or come by when you get a chance.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I'll try to stop by after I wrap this up.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Alrighty.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: So about the Seattle trip. When do you want to leave?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I have the liberty of locking up shop when I desire, I suppose. How's your schedule?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Jacuzzzzzi tub suite? I'm batting my lashes.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: You know how my schedule is. But if there's ever going to be time to relax it's either going to be before the festival or after. Halloween weekend is coming up.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I'm sure I can manage a jacuzzi. A few folks had business up in Seattle that they needed me for. I mean, I know this is our little vacation, but expect Joey Kelly to be tagging along. The guy needs a suit.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Before if we can swing it, I don't trust this place to not drop one more thing on us before we have time to finish breathing, honestly.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Why does a Kelly need a fancy suit from the city?

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: It's this project that he's doing. Poe Little's coming with. I think. I mean, if they aren't ready by the time I need to head out, then it'll just be us. Possibly Tobin.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Are we taking my car to fit or are they piling in?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Because I was totally going to offer to drive some. You know. The quiet parts. I don't want to drive it in the city, someone else will hit me and you'll tell me I don't know how to drive fast cars and kilt your baby til I die.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: They can take their own damn cars.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I mean, I can honestly imagine you about eighty-seven, remembering the time I wrecked your shiny baby in a moment of senile clarity and having some nurse send my old ass a smashed up toy model.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: But I'll be old too, so I'll just pretend I don't remember.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: God, I hope I'm dead before I reach eighty-seven.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I don't know, I'm kind of into being a total jerk of an old person on some whippersnappers.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: But. I do like my hips. And I like them intact.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: You do have wonderful hips.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Mhm. And god, I love the way you grab them when you take control or grip hard when you're about to finish us.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: So about Nasir... I think I am going to meet him for coffee or upstairs in my place in a different setting under the condition he show up pretty sober and try the talking thing like people.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Is that even possible with that one?

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I mean, I have a hunch that he's suffering from some form of PTSD or trauma. Military, perhaps?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Unsure, that's why I'm curious. What happens when obvious trainwreck deliberately making themself a trainwreck isn't being a trainwreck?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Naturally, being a part-time trainwreck myself, I notice these things. That and...

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I don't know. He liked Hank. I remember him from when I was pretty little more than when I was older because I didn't really come hang around the shop much unless Hank had me watching the register and telling people to 'come back later' while he did whatever for however long. And he liked... stuff. The tinkering around invention ideas and crap they used to talk about...

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I mean, look, neither of us liked Hank. But it used to kind of make me jealous pissed off he was giving attention like that when he'd talk to a boy and I used to think maybe he'd try harder if I was a boy.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: That's why I remember.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: He lacked any sense of professionalism and he obviously didn't do his homework on item costs.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Right. The computer and time can help with that if he's sober. But he's uh. Okay. So the things I get in the shop for turnaround, do you know how much I use my abilities to restore and repair and cover details like engravings on guns and jewelry to fence things? It adds up.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Just be careful with him. He came in looking for work in that unstable condition. People like him are unpredictable.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Or maybe I'm just guilty over throwing Hank's ashes in the box and I'm trying to see... I don't know. Something. Might not be worthwhile for the work thing, but I am still curious.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Yeah. They are. I can light him on fire, it's fine.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: IF he is a military veteran, I have nothing against aiding our troops.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Just gotta keep an eye on him.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: God yes, the shifts with the altered cash and etc, are entirely my thing. Okay, well, I might have slipped Katy's till some things, but she was dumb.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Okay, that was mean considering I just... whatever. I was going to say something else but I forgot.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: After that severance pay you gave her, I'm sure she's doing fine.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Mm. So, this project you're doing with... Joey and Poe... does this make you a hot crime mafioso on the sly?

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: What do you mean?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: You being very Soprano in my head is quite sexy.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I mean he asked me about suits, so I'm taking him to get measured.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Oh, are you literally just getting Joey a suit?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I thought he needed a suit because of something you guys were gonna pull. I mean, it's Kelly.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: He said he had a thing. He needed a suit. He asked me.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Ugh, lie to me next time, you killed my ladyboner.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I was envisioning a heist.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: And risk getting caught? And losing everything that I've already built up?

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Whatever Kelly needs to do with his suit, he's on his own.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I guess you're sexy when you sound all responsible, too.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I'd ask if my criminality was sexy, but I know you hate it, so shh.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: The debt that you owe to Monaghan? That I'd rather you pay off ASAP.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Most rational people would want that, yes.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: It's not the most enviable position to be in, especially from what I've heard about Monaghan.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: He's admittedly... mm. It's not like TV with charisma all over it.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: So you like a good bad boy? Should I be wary of Joey Kelly then?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: He does ballet too. Double threat.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I can make you a bad boy. Which is ugh typed out, but my tone is quite serious.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Some already think of me as a 'bad boy', knowing how cut throat the business world can be. And how I'm here to gentrify the town. 😉

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Mmm, gentrification, please, do go on. Can we talk about displacement and monopolies too? You are bad.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Look at me keeping up with relative business and real estate terms.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: Do you want me to quiz you on how much you know?

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: Only if 'quiz' is code and you let me see some overlay maps and spreadsheets of property value trends as foreplay.

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: (After a very long pause, where there was bouncing dots for a very long time before he decided to continue rather than erasing what he'd typed) Real Estate isn't my forte, but I've got some spreadsheet for you.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: That's all it takes for me to spread my legs, really, good call.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I actually feel a little ugh making that joke simply because I have been working on sales records, trends, margins, and projections in a spreadsheet half the day and my eyes are mad about it.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: I want to be in Seattle now 🙁

(TXT to Lilith) Byron: I have a few people I need to either meet or call throughout the week. The calling is easy enough to do on the road.

(TXT to Byron) Lilith: When your meet-meets are all done, we'll take a ride away asap. I'll even pack a bag in advance so I can be ready to be surprised on the fly if you want to be cute.
