It's a warm afternoon and there's a gray drizzle that seems to hang around all the time now in the Autumn. The shop has been opened for a few hours and Ruby is just getting done with inventory for the new case of comics. She's dressed like she always in, something that should be in the 50's. There is a large black Maine Coon on the back counter asleep and a warning sign of 'don't wake the beast' has been fashioned out of a piece of cardboard. Maybe it was a joke? Maybe it wasn't.

Lyric had heard about costumes and she's pretty sure there'll be something she can wear a costume at. Stopping in, she glances around, having been here before, she's at least familiar with it. Noticing Ruby, she heads towards her but gets briefly distracted by the sleeping Maine coon. She doesn't wake it, but she looks. "Does it bite?" she asks quietly.

Ruby was just taking a sip of coffee when she hears the door and there's a smile to Lyric, "Good afternoon." she waves to her. The question about the cat makes her chuckle, "Only if you're slathered in tuna or some other meat." she tells her. "That's Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All. He was upset because I put him in the carrier way too early and his beauty sleep was interrupted." she sighs. Then she smiles, "I'm Ruby. What can I help you with?" she asks.

"Stormageddon. That's the cutest name I ever heard before for a cat." Lyric grins, looking at the cat for a few minutes. "Dark Lord of All. I heard that about cats, they are the bosses." Finally, she looks back at Ruby and smiles. "Do you make costumes? I saw a post on friendzone that said come here or text, and since I was close anyway I stopped by here."

"It's from Doctor Who, so I can't claim creative genius of the name. I just thought it fit him." Ruby admits. Then there's a nod, "Yes, I do make costumes. I just posted up that I have a few commission spots open so I'm happy to schedule people in." she smiles. "Come on over. What sort of costume or creation are you looking to get?" she asks her.

Lyric approaches and leans a little against the counter. "I'm a DJ and we usually have themed shows or events. So I'm not sure if we're going to be before Christmas or after, so I was thinking maybe just a winter one. Winter Fairy, or an Anna from Frozen or something similar. Winter Queen? Something creative and with some pale blue and white colors, glittery or bling in some way?"
