Text

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Well, do I need to be plotting out merger cakes?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: It might be premature to plan cake at this juncture.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: I would absolutely love an excellent hangover remedy however.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: I do endeavour to avoid premature confection. Best hangover remedy at hand is likely still 'see if drinking even more helps', but I could get Wodehousian in your direction if you're feeling experimental.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Well it's the best way to learn anything instead of being a know-nothing

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: I didn't make a total ass out of myself did I? God that was an amazing party

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: You did not. And I'm pleased you think so, even if not everything went entirely as expected. Most important opinion that isn't mine, after all.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Aww but I value your opinion when you agree with me so much! ^-^

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: And occasionally more so when you do not and it keeps me from making bad life choices

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Well, if you'd like a questionable life choice for today:
2-4 dashes of salt
2 dashes of cayenne pepper
cover the bottom of the shaker with Worcester sauce
.5 oz lemon juice
ice
1.5oz vodka
3 oz tomato juice or possibly V8
one raw egg
a bit of tabasco sauce
shake or possibly blend until it looks properly drinkable, see how it goes.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: The nice thing about when we agree is that we're almost invariably right.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: (...bouncing dots...)

some minutes later...

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: I am reasonably certain the worst case of that should neither kill you nor leave you unable to text. Unless you have allergies you've not mentioned...

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: I just don't know where these things are supposed to be found like you're talkig to me in food pieces. Do I tell you to look into your top desk drawer by naming all teh pieces and 7/16th screws that go into it? No. this is mean and I want my PA back.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: I want your PA back too, he ought to handle these things for you.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Also I'm fairly sure my desk drawers contain precisely zero 7/16th screws unless they're holding them together.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: that's what I was referring to. OH so proud!

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Well, none of this is holding your kitchen together, unless your building methods are far more unorthodox than I had hitherto suspected.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Salt and pepper are likely in a cupboard. Sauces are either in a cupboard or the fridge. Vodka is either in your freezer or your bar. Everything else ought to be in the fridge.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Or you could just come by. Though I'm not sure I have tomato juice. You might have to pick some up... hm, though I do have tomatoes...

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Yes, all right, I have what I need for that. Are you ambulatory?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Yes and no. I'm capable. I don't want to move though, I suppose this is what I might constitute as an 'emergency'

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: How are you are you okay? Am I supposed to be worrying about you in some capacity beyond normal. Your shop is alright yes?

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: I suppose I'll have to come by, then. If it's an emergency. Do you know whether you have tomato juice?

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: ...and I'm fine. So's the shop, and even that piano. Jury remains out on Carmen and Trey. But no, you needn't worry particularly. I needed to stay relatively sober to keep things on track. More or less. So as I say... fine.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: I didn't think she even liked him or is she playing hard to get and is really super bad at it?

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: She doesn't. At all. It's fairly amusing, generally.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Well does she now?

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: I've never texted her in my life but I admit I'm deeply tempted to change that today.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Given the state of the flowers and the invisible orchestra, however, I suspect it may have qualified as something along the lines of temporary insanity.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Hard to say. It didn't happen to me, after all.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: omg do it. come here and text her

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: we cna enjoy the trauma of her life to distract from ours it'll be faboo!

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: If I'd known this would happen I'd have scheduled them both to work today and gone in for breakfast.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: How do you think Eleanor and August are taking it?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: From what I heard from Itzhak? Well! Seems to be the shove that was needed. They're sooooo damn cute together. I'd say I want a pair but... like we have them so. That was easy. Cheaper too.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: She won that cake from you for the rafle for a reason you kno. I had a feeling about this year.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Given there are two of them, they already are a pair, so we're in luck.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Do you have tomato juice or do I need to obtain some on my way?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: I see neither a tomato or anything witha tomato on it

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: wait I found something

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Ketchup doesn't count as tomato juice right?

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Not as such, no.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: ...diluting it's an option but the vinegar and sugar content might not be ideal.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: I trust your judgement

after a slight delay...

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: All right. I'll be by shortly with questionable beverages and questionable texting. Where are you on solid food?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Honestly, I think there's things here

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: in pieces but present.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: For food? All right. But how are you feeling about eating it?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Well I mean you didn't make it.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: So I can feel about as good as I'm going to under those conditions

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Vyv?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: If I keep saying pretty things about you will you make me a grilled cheese?

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth:

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Your odds are better if you don't directly connect the flattery to the desired result, you know.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: But they're fairly decent regardless.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Yes but I respect you enough to know what's going on and that Also, I really do mean it

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: I know. Still my favourite. ️ I'll bring you some decent bread. You do have-- no, never mind, I'll bring some suitable cheese also, it's just safer.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: Who doesn't love new cheese day. See you in a bit.

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Oh good, now I have lines from the Odd Couple running through my mind. See you shortly.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: lol aww we should put that on later and bing old shows. We have not done this in forever

(TXT to Hyacinth) Vyv: Moved and seconded. Add it to the official agenda. And think of some more pretty things to say about me when I get there.

(TXT to Vyv) Hyacinth: done and done
