(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Thorne. Easton's alive. He's back.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Interesting. Are you sure that it's him?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Yes. He nicknames everything. It's him.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : What happened to him? Was he in the Veil this whole time?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Seems like. Haven't asked for details. He's clearly shaken, to say the least.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Bennie knows then?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Oh yes. He appeared in a flash of lightning in the middle of karaoke at the Two If By Sea.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Lightning struck TiBS? Was anyone hurt?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Easton shot Geoff and Javier shot Easton. And some people were hit by various flying objects. But nothing serious.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Why were they shooting each other?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Easton was scared. I'm pretty sure Easton shoots things when he's scared. Javier...Javier just shoots things.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : So no one got hurt despite everyone shooting at each other?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Not seriously.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Is he... Is he fine now? No PTSD or violent trauma that needs to be dealt with?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Byron. He spent objective months in a torturous hell dimension. Yes. I'm sure he has both of those things. Right now he seems more tired and relieved, but obviously, there will be a need for recovery.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : I honestly meant the current situation. Good to know that he's back. Both mentally and physically.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Oh. Yes. Sorry. No, it's mostly showering and sleeping, I think, right now. I'm sure he'll reach out to you when he can, and has a phone again. Be nice.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Be nice? Why wouldn't I be? There was some concern with the other casino investors at the time of his disappearance.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Just need to sort that all out again.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Because sometimes you make jokes, and sometimes they're more mean than funny. Easton might not be in the mood. And, oh. The casino. Yeah. I know he willed the bar to Bennie, but I don't recall her mentioning the casino. I might have forgotten.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : He wanted his share to default to his family trust. Our lawyers were handling that.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Makes sense. I doubt Bennie would want to try and handle an investment property of that size. Even as a junior investor. Will it go back to him now, or? I don't know if he was ever declared officially dead.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Oh we had a discussion on what to do regarding his disappearance. It's something the lawyers are working on. I'll need to reach out to him once I get home. He got a new number?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : I don't know if he has a phone again, yet. When are you going to be back in town? Are you and Lilith okay?

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : We're in Seattle to pick up a dog from a shelter. Better here than in GH, right?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Our dogs aren't evil. But Seattle's dogs aren't evil, either. No dogs are. So...good. 🙂 Does Smaug know?

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Better to be in Seattle rather than Gray Harbor is what I meant. How would Smog know?

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : I could tell him, but that's ridiculous.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Why did you name your cat after pollution? At least a dragon fits. And if you don't tell him, he's gonna be upset when the dog arrives. Luigi was pissed at me when I brought Blue Bell home.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Because it's the color of pollution.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : Or he's the color of clouds. Or fog. Or fluffy cotton.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : We found him dirty in an alley. Smog was fitting.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : ::frowny face emoji::

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Get your own cat and name it. Anyway, so everyone with Easton is fine? And Bennie is looking after him right now? His family trust still rents his apartment space and has been doing so for ages now. But I believe he and Bennie bought their own place? Either way, as long as he has somewhere to go.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : I have a cat. She adores you. And yeah, Easton's at their cabin and Bennie's with him. Honestly, I doubt she'll allow him out of her sight for a while. I understand the impulse. I've never...I honestly didn't think anyone could survive that long in a Dream.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : It's a place like any other. Not all of the Dreams or Veil stuff have been overly terrible. Was it the Dream or the Veil? Magolia's father survived for a time in the Veil.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : I don't know. Haven't discussed details. He didn't look like it was fun, though. And he did? Is he...

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : So his 'ghost' informed us, but that's probably another Veil thing too. I don't know what to think. Lilith and I had two memories for a time. That's gone now.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Have you heard what people have been saying about us? Lilith and me?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : I'm glad it's gone. Sort of sad we didn't get to try the null room experiment. It would have been interesting. And...no. I've been trying not to listen. It gives me anxiety when people are wrong about facts. Are you still dead?

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : I don't think so. Lilith and I don't have a new second memory.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : But people have been congratulating on on our wedding, supposedly.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : I guess that's better than people thinking Lilith killed me.

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : It is. And at least that one will eventually BE true? The Revisionist likes drama.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Is Isabella doing alright?

(TXT to Byron) Alexander : She is. Her arm is better. She seems happy. Just busy.

(TXT to Alexander) Byron : Lilith's back. We're about to head out. Thanks for keeping me updated about Easton. I'll probably be heading back later today unless we stay an extra night.
