Coffee: You like coffee? Ariadne likes coffee so much she works at Espresso Yourself. She’s happy to talk shop while she works on your drink.
Samwise: Dog lover? Sam’s an easy-going pup as a whole, well-trained if reserved as befits a Silken Windhound. He’ll probably sniff you and give you a look-over to see if you pass muster. If you have an interest in lure-coursing, Ariadne will happily lecture you on that too.
Piano: Musical at all? Ariadne has enough training to be able to play most things by ear if not fluently at first. She might plunk out something if you ask her when there’s a piano around and a drink in her.
Nature Lover/Marine Biologist: You’ve found the right chick to talk local nature with. It’s delightful to be so nearby the Olympic National Forest. Aren’t banana slugs adorable? Let’s go hiking. The elk of the Rockies are still better than those around here though, sorry, Washingtonians. But now, you want to talk about the local orcas? Ariadne will absolutely give you far too many fine details about the local pods. Also, wolf eels are adorable, she doesn't care what you say.
Bicycling: Ariadne is often seen riding around town with Samwise at her side. Both woman and dog do need some brisk outdoor air and to get the heart pumping now and then.
Kick-Boxer: Ariadne knows she’s not any Olympic martial artist, but self-defense is important to her. She can be found at lessons and working out at the local gym now and then, keeping herself up to snuff.
Many Faces: She sees them around the coffee shop. She might have an answer about someone if you’re curious enough, though gossip isn’t her forte.
Pop Culture Gamer: Hey, listen: if you’re jonesing for a smackdown in Smash Bros or a good old argument about what’s worse, a drunken Bard on the loose or a Necromancer who directs their undead badly, Ariadne is happy to discuss -- and look, Black Widow is the best Avenger, fite her.
Glimmer: Ariadne couldn’t tell you what precisely is going on, only that she’s sensitive to emotionally-charged situations and sometimes, things go bump when they aren’t supposed to. This, and Samwise seems to know what she’s thinking sometimes, but maybe that's just because him a very good boy, yes he is.
Dark-auburn hair generally kept up or back in some manner accents Ariadne’s rectangular face. High apple cheeks lift when she smiles, showcasing dimples on either side of pert lips above a small chin. One of her front teeth is twisted, just a little, in a set otherwise acceptable to any dentist. Her eyes, more heavily lidded, tend to appear to be a brown-hazel until the sunlight hits them right; they’re more green or gold depending on the source of the illumination.
Her fashion tends towards comfortable and functional, not flashy. Graphic tees are often layered beneath button-up blouses or a zip-up sweatshirt. Thumbholes are necessary in all long-sleeved items, especially thermals beneath vests. Jeans and sneakers, sometimes boots, complete the ensemble. There’s got to be a good reason to get her into a skirt or dress. Mascara and a dusting of blush is all she commits to unless there’s a whim for eyeliner or eyeshadow.
