Veiled Conceit - Carver has spent as much of his life inside the veil as out. In fact, in the past few years, the ratio has shifted slightly. Normalcy is distinctly strange to him.
English as Hell - He's from somewhere north of London, that's for sure. And doesn't try to hide it in language or accent.
Bottomless Pockets - The amount of oddities he can pull from his coat make stop & searches something the local PD have to book in advance.
Cop Hater - Loathes the PD in all shapes and forms. Seemingly without exception.
Font Of Information - He has answers! They may not be technically accurate or true, but he has them! Ask!
Bullshit Dice Hate Him
Hard of stubble and sharp of jaw, Alistair Carver wears, currently, dark black hair that once was styled by a professional hand, and now is styled in the morning by a hungover hand being run through it after a shower. Maybe. If you're lucky. Deep brown eyes that almost seem black in anything other than direct light are a little sunken, and the man stands at around 5'10. Well, he would if his remarkably average frame had any sense of posture. He's usually slouched.
A dark waistcoat and matching pants, a tie that at least matches the deep grey color of everything else, and a white shirt rolled up to the elbows. He's dressed to impress, as long as you're easily impressed by an undone top button and the tie hanging loose. If he's wearing a coat, it's most likely a deep grey shotgun coat, ragged and showing more than a few signs of damage. And is that a burn mark on one sleeve? The well polished black shoes almost seem to be at odds with the rest of him.
Watch:A silver watch with plated link usually sits around his left wrist. The glass face is broken, and the hands don't appear to say the right time.
