KC

Local Boy - A townie for the first 21 years of his life, KC was a dichotomy. A smart jock, huge heart, self sacrificial and eventually somewhat reclusive at times. Raised by a single mother who wasn't in the best health. There was something a bit off about him and it seemed to get worse the older he got. He was always known for helping people, but in the span of many years, he went from a smiling, friendly lug to unusual and somewhat faded from that personality.

Mental Health History - KC has a HUGE history working in the mental health field. He has worked for Western State Hospital for 8 years, and has held multiple positions within. He started out as a tech, has worked in intake, discharge planning, HR and eventually worked his way up to CEO. Quite possible that he has had some kinda contact with people if they've had connections there.

The Truth - KC knows more than the average individual about how things are. He's looked into it, researched and but hasn't really run unto anyone else that has a clue, and for whatever reason The Veil has kept him ot of contact with others that use the Glimmer until now. Like a switch being thrown. As such, it makes him lack trusting others to that side of him. Talk to him about weird stuff! Get him all uncomfortable and everything!

Rumors - There's rumors in town about the death of KC's father and how mixed the circumstance and outcome are. No one can prove any of it, but there's all kinds of stories surrounding it ranging from: the mother killing the husband for insurance money, the mother is a witch and cursed him, that KC is the one that cursed him, etc. He has heard it all, so locals might have heard or came up with something about him over the years.

Heroic - To combat the rumors and bad things people suspect about his family, KC struck out to help people and be an upstanding guy. He can have a bit of a heroic complex when it comes to people in need. Good or bad, KC cannot resist the urge to step in and save people one way or the other, sometimes at the cost of his own resources. He mostly as helped people going through some kind of mental crisis, but he's the type to pull someone out of a burning building and rescue dogs if the need calls for it.

Veiled Therapy - KC cannot escape the push of The Veil or of Them, and he has made himself accepting of that fact. He endures the torment. but he is compelled to fight their influence by reducing the anxieties and influences that they cause on other people. Often with his Mental Gimmer, but sometimes even just a 'Hey, it's alright, you're not crazy. I believe you.' works wonders.

Dream Navigation - KC has quite a bit of experience with Dreams. His recognition of what they are has made him competent on how to escape them. For people that don't know what going on, or don't know how to escape them, KC is the guy to have on your team. He may not understand the full nature of them, or have all the answers surrounding them, but he knows how to get himself and others out of them safely enough.

The very first thing to notice-- and most obvious-- is that he is huge. KC stands a good 6'7" tall, with a form to match. His hair is rather long, extending to his shoulders in a sort of dirty-blond mane. His head is rectangular in shape, a well-defined jaw providing much of the attention in form. Two full, blue colored eyes are evenly separated between his masculine nose, their color as deep as the sea. A managed full beard and mustache grow from his upper lip and jaw-line, ending just before a powerfully built neck which connects his head to his body. He looks to be of at least some Caucasian descent, save for this hair color. His skin is dusky, and oddly smooth for someone so large and feral.

Wide shoulders flair out easily from KC's neck, providing an even form for the rest of his thick and muscular body. Massively built arms rest casually on either side of his body, the width of his arms adding even more to the sheer size of muscle. Enormous hands are connected to the rather solid arms, each one providing an empowering effect with the rest of his physique. Large knuckles providing constant hinges for lengthy fingers. Blockish abdomens form along his slightly thinner waist, down further to a solid pair of legs and humongous feet.
