2019-07-24 - Pick Up A Few Things

When Baylee stops by the trailer, it's trashed. Apparently someone was mad the blonde fled. What meager possessions she does have, like her fabric and sewing and repurposed clothing from the thrift store are strewn everywhere. Her sad couch is cut open, not that they were really searching for anything, they just wanted to destroy. Even the door to the fridge was left open and every cabinet in the kitchen. Boxes that were blocking the master bedroom have been strewn out. Lastly, her purse and all its contents have been dumped out on the floor in the living room. Her phone screen is cracked (but still usable), her wallet is open and if there was any money in it, there isn't any more. It looks like Bennie typically keeps things like her favorite clothes in the bag, some medicine bottles, and personal care items.

Amidst Bennie's scattered mail are various pay stubs from her city job and the diner, along with ones from the US Government that appear to be the death benefits of her brother. Baylee can extrapolate the payment amount and the 'remaining # of payments' that it'll roughly be a 100k payout in the end. There is also a little spiral notebook with a giant yellow sunflower on the front, filled with notations that look as if they are in Bennie's hand. It's a detailed accounting of anyone that has ever claimed her father owed them money, in amounts as small as $5 and when/if/how much she's paid them back. It looks like she's been doing her best to balance paying 'normal' people back along with larger amounts - the majority of her monthly income - going to someone simply named R.J. There is no total amount owed, just an accounting of what she's paid out over the last five years, roughly 50k. There is also a notation that she sold the trailer to a neighbor, and keeps track of hours she babysits which must equal some sort of rent.
