The closest Marius ever wanted to get to a full-on motocycle accident was a little skid. Unfortunately, he just experienced a head-on crash into a wall, bouncing off the crumbling wall, and falling toward the ground. He wakes up out of a dead sleep, sitting up with a start, the covers pooling around his waist, "Woah shit!"
"Squeak!" Yes, Astrid just said 'squeak.' She almost tumbles out of bed with the double-tap of her own startle and Marius's. The brunette is looking around frantically, and she's tapping the bed like she's trying to find Ash. She glances over toward Marius. "We didn't die. Okay. That's good."
There doesn't appear to be an Ash in the bed. Probably because that isn't where she fell asleep, although that doesn't stay that way long. It takes her a little while longer to get to the room, due to have to wake up, get out of her room, cry about being hurt for a minute, then shamble down the hallway to burst through the door without invitation.
Marius twists toward the squeak, laughter bubbling up through his panic. The motion causes him to groan, and he reaches over to where a bruise is already rising on his shoulder, "Jesus Christ." His hand goes up to his head neck, a goose-egg rising there. "I feel like I ran into a wall. You okay, Ast? Looked like you got tagged too." And he looks to the door, and Ash's room across the hall, "You think Ash's -- " Look, there's Ash right now, and he puts a hand on Astrid's back and holds his other arm out for Ash. "You okay?"
"... Ow." Astrid finds her own wound as a slash surrounded by bruise on her arm. She touches it tenderly before she frowns over at Marius. "I think we did run into a wall." Then she's looking up as the door opens. "Ash!" Astrid reaches for Ash just as Marius does.
"Oh my god!" Ash announces as she kicks the door shut before she holds her arms out towards them, then she rushes towards the bed, throwing herself into the arms, "That was so fun, and terrible! And confusing!" And probably half a dozen other things that she could through into that statement if she just took the time to do it.
The touch to Astrid's cut arm causes Marius to open his mouth, but there's Ash throwing herself forward. He tumbles back with an 'oof' and a wince. "Ow. Shit, ow." Getting one hand on Ash's shoulder to push her up a little, he frowns, "You're okay?" He already asked that. Then he wraps his arm around each of the women, squeezing gently. "That was fuuuuucked up." There's a pause, "And that suit bound something fierce. Who's bright idea was it to drive through a wall?"
Astrid throws her arms around Ash, tugging her down into the pile-up in Marius's bed. She turns her head into Ash's and frowns over at Marius. "We're okay. Right? We're all okay." Then she looks at Marius and she has a sheepish expression. "I don't know. I thought Olivia Wilde had them drive at the wall. I don't remember the movie very well."
"I'm okay." Ash moves to show where she got winged by one of the disks, which just makes her frown, but she seems otherwise alright, for all that. Certainly not hurt enough to be rushed to the hospital, that's for sure. "I don't remember the movie at all." She points out before she squirms around, inviting herself right under the covers, "I'm sleeping in here for the rest of the night. And we're never going to watch Tron again, those guys are dicks."
"I'm okay. I hurt like hell, but I'm okay." Marius cranes his head to look at the wounds, "Should we get, uh... bandages or anything?" He shifts, because Ash is lifting the covers and he... draws his hands back and covers his groin with both hands, blushing brightly. "I was so high when I watched it. But that was pretty awesome. And scary. And awesome." Look, he's distracted, squirming around a little to try to get some more covers over his junk. "I kind of want to watch them all get their asses kicked."
"We're all okay." And since Jens and Runa weren't there, everyone in the house is okay. But then Astrid's eyes widen. "Is Sparrow okay?" Then she's smiling at Ash as she wriggles in, but -- don't worry -- Astrid isn't as bashful as Marius and just hugs Ash in close. There's nudity but there's no worries about that from Astrid's side of things. "Hey, if the heroes win, I will watch it again."
There's not any modesty from Ash, never has been, might as well not start with it now. Astrid gets hugs, her head finding her shoulder before she shakes her head, "Not sure, I left my phone in my room, but we could text them? I bet they are okay, though." There is some small amount of guilt for having forgotten to check on the other house, but right now there is other things to occupy herself with, like giving Marius an amused look, "You don't have to get all bashful all of a sudden. And I guess if the heroes win I'd watch it again. Pretty sure they win."
"We could call her and Corey," Marius suggests, nodding over to the phone on his bedside table. He glances aside to Ash and Astrid, his eyes widening a little and his blush coming back. Look, several of his prominent dreams start like this, people, it's natural for him to blush. "And, um, whoever the other guy was." Ash's suggestion gets a bright and blessedly-distracted, "Yes, I can text them." Reaching over, he starts typing, then looks up, his eyes widening slightly, "I'm not bashful." He says bashfully, shifting the covers in his lap and trying to lean back against the headboard casually. He mostly fails. The leaning is fine, just not the casual. "I just didn't know that you needed to see..." he trails off, because that way does not lead to more comfort.
Astrid is soothed by both Marius and Ash stepping in to find out if Corey and Sparrow are okay. She hadn't seen Corey there, but then again -- neon! She rests her head against Ash's, and she breathes out a short exhale. Then she glances over toward Marius who has settled back in against the headboard. "He's okay." Right? Her cheek nuzzles against Ash's head. "Charlie. That's his name. He's been in all the Dreams lately."
"I've seen..." Ash waves a hand, in the air, the motion a little like a flopping fish before she shakes her head at Astrid, like she's pretty certain that Astrid understands. Understands everything. "Charlie? Not sure I know who he was, he seemed nice." For what that might be worth when trapped in a terribly neon death dream. "If we knew where he was we could check on him, too. But...Sparrow and Corey first." She glances at Marius, watching him with wide, expectant eyes as she continues to cling to Astrid, making sure that if Astrid goes anyways, she's going with her new Ash-growth.
Marius taps out a quick message on his phone, but Ash's gesture gets a wildly-affronted look in the midst of his blushing, "What?" That might even be a little strangled. "I am not..." his hand flops emphatically, and then he goes back to tapping on the phone, sending the message out, "There. I sent it. They could have gone back to sleep, right?" He looks toward the window, then back toward the clinging women, gives a little sigh, and slumps down in the bed to lay his head on the pillow and pull the covers up onto his chest. "Wait, all of them? Oh right, there was another one besides MIB, right? And Agent C's been in all of them?" He looks over to the clinging, snuggling women, trying hard not to think about the fact that Astrid isn't wearing anything under the covers, and he totally didn't see what Ash was wearing because she was playing the part of a missile when she entered. "Heh. Jens'd try to kill me if he knew you were both in my bed." And there's the blush again.
(TXT to Sparrow) Marius : You and Corey okay? This is Marius btw. Weird dream. Shiny. Suddenly want to watch Tron not high.
"He is, but he'll get over it." Astrid smooches Ash's head and resumes her comfortable curl with her friend. Her eyes flicker up to Marius as he slumps down into the bed with them, and she smiles coyly at the Viking boy. Only then does she glance back to ash. "Charlie's been in all the dreams. I think he's on Oak Street somewhere. I just haven't looked into who he is."
"You are too, unless you're hard. C'mon, Marius, you know how anatomy works." Ash points out with such a patient tone of voice, like she really can't believe she's having to explain this minor fact of anatomy and physiology to him. He who should know. She gives Astrid's cheek a quick kiss before she moves towards Marius so that he doesn't feel neglected in the clinging and snuggling. Which, for the record at least clarifies that Ash has on a t-shirt. "So should we find this Charlie? If he's been in all these dreams, maybe he's freaking out by now. Also, I'm not telling Jens. You shouldn't tell Jens."
(TXT to Marius) Sparrow : Yeah. All accounted for. You?
(TXT to Sparrow) Marius : Yes. Bumps, bruises, couple cuts. Okay. Know Charlie?
(TXT to Marius) Sparrow : Seen him in a couple other dreams. Figure he's gotta live nearby.
Do not say anything about your penis right now, Marius. Be smart. Marius opens his mouth, and then closes it. The coy look from Astrid doesn't help matters. Neither does Ash turning toward him and snuggling up too. He tucks his hips back, but otherwise raps his arm around Ash and Astrid alike, "I'm glad you're both okay." His phone chimes, and he reaches back to check it, "Okay, Sparrow and Corey are okay. She figures Charlie lives nearby too. And yes, he's probably freaking out, because he's not cool like us. And I won't tell Jens anything. That's the usual. We're guys, after all." That's probably not the usual at all.
Astrid giggles against Ash's hair at the teasing, and she glances at Marius. "It's okay." Then she is curling up in the threesome cuddle pile, and sighing out a breath. "This is Dream, like, three? Pleasantville, MIB, and now TRON. I think that we got some kind of serious movie theme on the Street." Then she tilts her head toward Marius when he confirms that they're okay, and she breathes out a short breath. "Good. You get hurt in there." She had heard that, that happens, but this is her second actual wound. But the pain after slamming into the wall? That's ouch.
Has anyone ever seen what happens when someone wants to cling? Ash wants to cling. Marius is the lucky one to get clung to in this case, and although he seems to be trying his best to avoid certain things Ash doesn't let that happen, throwing her leg over him to scoot closer. One hand reaches back to grab at Astrid's side, making certain that she doesn't get left behind in the repositioning. "I hadn't ever gotten hurt before. Not like this, I scrapped my knee when the giant teddy bear chased me while I was sick with that flu? But this was the first real ow."
Marius can't avoid clinging -- and he probably doesn't want to either, not really. So it quickly becomes apparent that he's not that disturbed by the Dreams. Or at least that he's distracted by the two women in the bed with him. "So... um..." He just goes with it, slipping an arm under Ash's shoulders to grasp Astrid's shoulder and pull her in as well. The other arm wraps around Ash, and he tries to think about baseball. "Yeah. I've had a couple. Usually you can wake up. I mean, after a while. That was the grabby teddy bear, right Ash? And yeah. We're checking out that cut, Ast. The one you got in the MIB Dream was gnarly." It wasn't that bad.
"Oh, right! Peanut Butter." Yes, Astrid named the giant teddy bear. She now just scoots in closer around the Ash sandwich so she can hook her arm around Ash's hip so she can touch Marius's. It's a warm snuggle that has her smile settled in softly. "We're okay though. We were in there together." Now she shrugs a shoulder a bit at Marius's worry. "I'll be okay. It feels okay." Ish.
"Yeah, that was the grabby teddy bear. It was terrible." Ash agrees about the teddy bear situation, although when Astrid names it she laughs, some of the tension from the dream easing away with the laughter, as well as the snuggling. The hand that she used to help pull Astrid towards her remains on her side, starting to pet at her from the less than great angle as Ash's attention drifts. "We're here together." Which seems to be something very important. But more importantly, she offers quietly, "I can maybe fix the cut."
"At least it wasn't 'Ted.'" Marius shakes his head, then lifts up a little to look at both Ash and Astrid, his brows furrowing a moment, "Yeah, we'll be alright." Leaning forward across Ash, he presses a kiss to Astrid's shoulder, then settles back some, hesitating only a moment before he presses a kiss to Ash's shoulder again. "Yeah. We got it." He blinks at Ash's quiet words, and he turns his attention to her, "You think so? You think that's how you can Glimmer?"
"Well, that's his name now," Astrid says with a snort against Ash's hair. Then she nuzzles in closer to her friend at the warm pets. "You can try," she offers to her blonde friend. There's a little happy warmth to that murmur because it is accompanied by the kiss to her shoulder. "I would love to see Ash get all shiny." She pops open an eye to smile over at her dearest friend again. Marius is also given a casual look and she bites softly at her lower lip, almost curiously.
"Peanut Butter." Ash nods, accepting this new status quo of the grabby teddy being named, and named Peanut Butter. There's an amused smile for Marius about something, but she doesn't say anything, doesn't explain just what amused her. Instead she starts to squirm around to face Astrid, her hands reaching up to pet at her hair, "Yeah, I think that I can, if you want me to try...?" She doesn't seem to be willing to do any of that without permission though, and she waits for it before she tries anything.
"Peanut Butter," agrees Marius, even though he has no say in the matter. He scoots back just a touch to let Ash turn around and focus on Astrid, lifting his head again to watch both of them. One hand stays tucked under the pillows, touching Astrid's shoulder, the other settles naturally on Ash's hip, "What, kissing friends is okay," he says at Astrid's lip-biting, "my -- " he stops there, because 'not-a-girlfriend' sounds odd, but not as wrong as the 'girlfriend' he was instinctively going to go with. His brows furrow a moment, then clear with a grin, "friend of many benefits said so. Besides, I want to see Ash get all shiny too. You can do it, Ash." It's not permission, clearly, since that has to come from Astrid, just urging her on.
"Peanut Butter." Now that it's been said three (four) times, Astrid looks around expectantly to see if she's summoned a giant, handsy teddy bear. Now she shifts slightly as Ash wriggles around to get on her side, and she scoots forward to show Ash her bruised and cut arm. "Stupid TRON disk-thingies." She squints a glance over to Marius, and she sticks out her tongue. "You can always kiss Ash." Which is high compliments! Now she looks back to Ash. "Give it a try, Ash."
<FS3> Ash rolls Spirit: Success (8 8 5 5 5 4 3 1) (Rolled by: Ash)
"You hear that, you can always kiss me." Ash informs Marius, glancing over her shoulder at him with a slight waggle of her brows, and a kissy face like she expects him to follow through on it now. Which she doesn't, so she doesn't stay that way for more than a heartbeat or two before turning back to Astrid. "You can always kiss Ash, too." But then she turns her attention to Astrid's arm, frowning at it before she reaches out to slide her hand over the bruise and cut, closing her eyes as she focuses on mending the cut. Not the bruise, that'll heal just fine and normal, but she focuses on knitting the flesh and back together. When she finishes she drops her hand down to where Marius' hand is on her hip, settling it on top of his, "Better?"
Marius leans forward to watch Ash work, then looks down at her eyebrow-waggling. He's a little late in following up on the kissy-face, so instead he presses his lips to her temple, adding in, "You can -- " Ash gets there ahead of him, and he scowls at her, "Hey!" He sticks his tongue out at each of them in turn, Ash and then Astrid, and then his eyes widen as she puts her attention on the wound and then he gasps, "Holy shit, Ash." His eyes are wide, "That was fucking awesome." His hand squeezes her hip, and then he looks over to Astrid, "What did it feel like? And you can always kiss Ash too, Astrid."
Astrid's smile redoubles at the invitation from Ash, and she lifts her shoulder in a little shrug, though she's grinning at Marius's scowls. "Oh, I know." She then turns her head to watch Ash bring together her skin, stitch it with the powers within her and without. She takes a breath as she relaxes into the feeling, and it takes her two breaths before she looks up at Marius at his question. "It felt... weird. Like skin pulling together, but not weird." Now she grins broadly at Marius's approval, and so she leans in to press a kiss to Ash's soft lips, murmuring as she does, "Thank you, Ash. Oh, and you already know can kiss Marius, too."
"It's a pretty great trick..." Ash agrees as she lets her eyes slide over the spot on Astrid's arm where the cut was, taking in the bruise for the moment before she refocuses on Astrid just in time for her to take her up on her offer, and Marius' permission. She leans into the kiss, sighing very slightly as a happy smile curves her mouth upwards, "Alright. I'm going to remember this, and just start kissing you both whenever I want to." Which it's easier to kiss Astrid since she's facing her, so the first kiss from her is given to Astrid, but then she's twisting around to give Marius a kiss too, "I'm glad I was with you two in the Dream."
"Weird but not weird, Ast?" Marius laughs, then flops down behind Ash. "You gotta be a writer, Ast." He twists his neck, grimacing a little, then nods, "I get it though. And Ash, that's totally great. Way better than lifting people up." Or coffee tables. Look, he just woke up from a horribly neon dream. "I mean," he chuckles sleepily at Ash's plan, "Pretty sure that already happ -- " and then he gets kissed too, leaning back in with his hand slipping around to Ash's other hip. " -- ppening." He smiles, and then reaches out to give Astrid a hug through Ash, bopping his brow into Ash's shoulder lightly as he does. "Yeah. Gotta have people you can trust around. Hot people you can trust is even better." He pauses then, "Hey... why didn't any of us try Glimmering in the Dream?"
"You can kiss me whenever," Astrid murmurs sleepily. Then she scoots in closer until she's yawning against Ash's hair. "I'm sleepy. Think I can go to sleep and we won't end up in Indiana Jones or anything?" She's not sure she will be awake for the answer because she's snuggling up and starting to drift to sleep. While she murmurs off, she notes, "I dunno. We can Glimmer next time."
"Hot people you can trust." It's agreement, honestly. Ash is in agreement about hot people. The arm that she's laying on moves, curling upwards so that the can tuck her hand up against Astrid's hair, a finger curling a strand around it before she just settles comfortably like that while she considers Astrid's question, "If we do, you get to wear the hat, you'll be hot in it. But Marius gets the whip, because that'll be great, too." She's going to just divvy up the costume so that everyone gets to be Indiana Jones instead of only one person. Then she reaches out to flop her other arm across Marius, snuggling in happily and quietly for a little bit, maybe letting Astrid fall asleep before she whispers quietly to Marius, "If this is the result of those Dreams, I think there should be more so there can be more snuggling."
"You want the jacket or the bag?" Marius's question is quiet, and he shifts slightly to draw his hips back a little bit, "I'm just gonna pretend that this isn't going to turn into another dream." Lower case. "This is nice though. Snuggling is good. Dreams don't always lead to snuggling though. Sometimes they lead to... oh... um... never mind." And then his eyes close, and he draws in a slow breath and lets it out, "All safe. All good. Snuggles."
There's a quiet check to see if Astrid had fallen asleep already, a reminder to be quiet and not wake her up with random babbling. "Jacket." She decides after a moment of though, letting her eyes drift closed as well before she yawns, mumbling through the yawn, "You don't have to do that, no one's going to be offended by things poking places during the night. Snuggling, sex, whatever fun thing Dreams lead to...both are great."
"Yeah," Marius's voice deepens when it quiets, or when he's halfway asleep, or both, and his fingers brush lightly at Ash's hip, then reach past to rest on Astrid's, his arm still across Ash's side as well, "I know, but I don't wanna do that to Ast. It's good, y'know?" Yeah, he's definitely more tired than he knows what to do with. "But thanks, Ash. You're awesome. And hot." He tucks his face into the fall of Ash's hair, "And a good kisser."
"It's just a physiological response, and sleeping." Ash is the voice of evil, but also reason. Not that she has enough feelings about this to argue the point beyond that. "I'm glad you two aren't sneaking around any more. That was exhausting playing dumb." She doesn't indicate this, but it's clear what she means when she follows it up with the observation, "This is better, too." Then hiding it. "You're awesome, and hot, and a good kisser, too. So is Ast." She sighs faintly, the sound happy, and dreamy, as she starts to let herself drift off towards sleep with a stupid smile on her face.
"Physiological response to hot." But Marius relaxes still more, nodding just a bit, "Yeah. People get Friends with Benefits. It's good to not have to hide..." he stirs a little, "wait, playing dumb? How long...?" And then he just shakes his head, "Ugh. No. Don't wanna know. Wanna sleep." But as he drifts off, he chuckles dozily, "There goes morning sex out the window."
"I'll act like I'm still asleep." Ash is helpful, and Ash cares. The words might just be quiet and muffled enough by almost being asleep he could just miss it. Who knows.
