The Ash of the Ast-Ash: Ash is part of a very mischievous duo. While they aren't always together, they're more fun when they are seen together.
College Student: She's a student at WSU-Hoquiam studying philosophy and history.
Seattle's Best: She's a native of Seattle, but moved out this way for who knows why to go to college.
Both of Ashleigh's parents are part of the tech industry in Seattle, which is where she grew up. Her father, though, was originally from Boston, having moved out there shortly after he graduated from college which is where he ended up meeting Ashleigh's mother. Two kids, and Ash was the baby of the family which meant that she had all the younger kid privileges, all the best after school activities, all the vacations. Life was good for Ash and her brother, her parents were great, still are. Some might even say that life was too perfect, and it almost didn't prepare her for what life would be like when she moved out on her own.
Bills. She had to pay bills, and she was very much not used to having to pay things out of her own pocket when her parents always paid for things. It's not that she can't ask her parents for things, but at the same time she tries her very best to pay for things on her own. Which is why she's in school, living in Gray Harbor with roomate(s) and working while trying to pay for everything that isn't covered by her scholarships. All to try and get around things like asking her mother for money.
Add to all this that all the strange things she's experienced over her life are stronger here. Closer to the surface. It's fun, mostly. Except for the darker dreams that happen.
Tall, regal....and far more goofy than expected. Long blond hair is often worn loose, or in very simple styles. Her skin is pale, what has always been classically called a peaches and cream complexion, and very prone to getting sunburns if she's not careful. Bright blue eyes are always merrily dancing with some amusement or another.
