My daughter, and the most important person in my life.
Baby sister, even though she's not a baby anymore. She has a knack for getting in trouble. I love her -- and I worry about her.
We graduated high school together, then he left for greener pastures. Nothing wrong with that -- but now he's back. I wonder why.
Easy to talk to -- maybe too easy, but luckily she doesn't mind my rambling about things that are probably too personal.
A chance meeting in a dream is enough to make anyone close -- she's sweet, and seems to be doing well for herself even though she's been through some things lately.
Lawyer: In a bind? Need out? He might be able to help.
Jewish: Very.
Daughter: He has one. He's rather protective of her.
Divorced: He and his wife separated years ago and their divorce was just finalized.
Ciprian is the older brother of Irvriya Kosimar. He's lived in Gray Harbor all of his life, except for when he left for college. But when his Law Degree was done he moved right back home. Something about the place just won't let people go. Ciprian knows all about that.
And he hates it.
His first experience with the weirdness of the town was when he and a group of friends were playing in an old abandoned house and his sister followed along. She got stuck in the basement and she was never the same since. Two years after the incident they were sitting down to dinner. Irvriya was distant, but then she gouged her eye out with a butter knife. He still sees it sometimes. He knows why she did it, but there wasn't anything he could do to help her. Not at that time.
He was an honors student and his sister followed in his footsteps. They are not very different, though Ciprian is very much not as Gothy as his sister is. He went to law school at Harvard, but a lot of people didn't understand why he game back to Gray Harbor. It was do to all of the shit going on with the Veil and in their lives. He wasn't going to leave his baby sister and family to deal with the weirdness alone.
He's exceptionally talented in the Physical realm of Glimmer and he's done his best over the years to hide it from his sister and the family. He just doesn't want her to feel like it's a burden that she needs to try to fix. And he definitely doesn't want the Dark Men after him or his daughter Ashira.
Ciprian has full custody of his daughter due to the recent divorce that his ex wife initiated. He doesn't bring it up a lot and Ashira doesn't seem to miss her mother a lot. She does tend to ask about her Aunt Riya a lot and it's hard to keep her away from the weird aunt when she admires her so.
Ciprian works for the local district attorney and has a side office where he takes on cases. He's usually the go to guy for the local riff raff that need a break on things. Even if he's stoic he does tend to be a bit understanding of the problems that plague Gray Harbor. So he tries to help.
Standing at 6'4'' this man isn't going to be gracing the covers of GQ anytime soon, but he's tall and has the dark looks that women go for most days. His black hair is kept fashionably short and his skin is clear of blemishes. Dark brown eyes hold a bit of a calculating look. He tends to wear slacks and button up shirts that are well tailored to his frame. He does tend to wear suits when he has to argue cases.
