While out on a shopping spree, Clarissa happened into Caoimhe's shop and ended up with some very nice homemade lotion and a tarot card reading. Since the reading was all pretty good things, she'll surely be back.
Clyde is the mayor of Gray Harbor, so - of course - they often run into each other at events and such.
This little social butterfly of an Addington is worth knowing, if only because she seems to have access to the family's purse strings, and Clarissa would like to dip her hand in that purse to fund the Historical Society's ventures.
Ignacio was the tour guide on one of the harbor tours Clarissa took trying to get to know more about the history of the area. As a fellow New Yorker, she appreciated his accent and his talent for engaging with people even if she didn't love the stand-up quality of his speeches.
For a hairdresser in a two-bit town? She does a great dye-job.
Although Clarissa will still claim that there's nothing as good as a New York slice, Vicky's pizza comes pretty damn close. She's still unsure about the young woman's ability to run a business, but she sure can make a pizza.
Isabella met Clarissa on the beach during her ill-fated birthday week when she was a little more chatty than she normally would have been due to all the champagne. Still, the young archaeologist seems like a real go-getter and Clarissa can appreciate that. She also appreciates someone with old family ties to Gray Harbor wanting to become a member of the Historical Society, so it looks like they are going to keep running into each other. If only she were rich.
When Clarissa was being pestered by the police concerning her husband's death, Alexander came around asking upsetting questions at an upsetting time. He might not be a cop, but he's close enough to earn her ire.
Clarissa met Andy at Singles Night (she didn't know it wasn't just a regular bar night, back off detectives) and liked him way better before she learned he was a cop. Sergeant, whatever. Even the sob story about his mother couldn't get her past that one. Probably. Cops are the worst!
When her husband died, Detective Quintanilla was given the task of investigating the possible murder. Though it was eventually ruled a suicide - because it was! - the investigation left a cloud over Clarissa. Which she (perhaps unfairly) blames on the detective.
The Captain of the worst police force in the history of policing. And now Clarissa knows he does read her complaints even if he never bothers replying. Time to double the amount it seems!
While Clarissa was canvassing the town to see if her ideas for fundraisers would work, Sarah tried to make her eat a powdered donut. A non-gluten-free and non-sugar-free donut! Of course she's a detective too, which just means she's the worst.
They barely had a chance to interact, but Tessa was around enough for Clarissa to catch on that she's a detective, which means she's probably the worst. At least she's a new detective so they don't have the history that Clarissa does with certain others on the police force.
Black Widow? - Clarissa was married when she first moved to Gray Harbor. Her husband was a successful lawyer who shot himself in the head one day. She found the body. Rumors inevitably circulated that Clarissa had murdered her husband for the inheritance money.
Historical Society - After her husband's death, Clarissa left town for a few weeks, but returned shortly after. She joined the Gray Harbor Historical Society, and quickly became its chairwoman.
Independently Wealthy - Between her parents' money, her husband's money, and the inheritance, Clarissa doesn't have to work.
'Conscientious about her figure' is probably how Clarissa would describe her physique, but the truth is that she's skinny. At just under five and a half feet tall, she could definitely stand to pick up some weight, generally curve-less. Meticulously well-groomed, though, and pretty despite the lack of shapeliness. Her brown hair is carefully coiffed, with a few strands subtly highlighted, an expensive dye job to say the least. Her eyes are large, hazel-brown and expressive, made prominent by the artistic application of cosmetics. Although her brows are a little heavier than ideal, they suit her face and bring attention from her forehead to those eyes. Always well-dressed, everything she wears is designer, from shoes to jewelry.
