She was there for him when he first came to town, and didn't abandon him when she decided to move in with her bandmates.

- Kind Hearted - Always willing to help someone out in need, he tries to do good with the "gift" that he's been given.
- Scars - He bears a number of them, both mentally and physically, but tries not to let them hold him back.
Cole was born in Boston, MA where he grew up with a couple of siblings and attended private school with a focus on the performing arts. He was training to be a dancer, and explored everything from ballet and tap to modern dance. He was a fairly popular kid with a small group of close friends and many acquaintances. His siblings also attended private school. He was close with his parents and had a good relationship with them. He seemed to have a charmed life. He went on to study fine arts and got a degree in the performing arts. When not dancing, he took up fencing as a hobby and always had a fascination with bladed weapons, which lead him to learn more about swordsmanship in general as a hobby because he was fascinated by it. Another one of his hobbies was sailing, as his family often vacationed at Martha's Vineyard, and he and his siblings enjoyed sailing during the summer months. He was kind, a gentle soul who enjoyed teaching and sharing with others, helping out with local charities, and was good to everyone he met. He used the opportunities that his performances afforded him to do good work within the community, help out educational programs, and give back at every opportunity.
His life nearly ended in an instant on New Year's day, when a drunk driver hit him while he was heading back home from a friend's house. It was then that his Glimmer emerged and he found himself in a Dream where he had been lifted up and brought among the angels to be one of them, and fight against the darkness in the world. He saw glimpses of dark figures that preyed upon the fears and despair of others, and he felt that this dream was somehow a calling, that he had some things that he needed to do, and he had to follow that calling wherever it led.
He wasn't the same when he came out of the coma. The doctors said that he could dance again, but he felt disconnected from the people around him. He still loved his family, his friends, but there was something nagging at his mind and his heart. He'd never been a particularly religious or even spiritual person, so the dream struck him as deeply strange. But he knew he had somewhere that he needed to be, and Boston wasn't it. So he set off across the country, following the pull of something that he couldn't explain until he ended up in Gray Harbor.
He still practices and still dances, but not professionally. Instead, he's taken to doing odd jobs here and there in town, working wherever there's a place that needs someone, and trying to help those that he finds that might be in need. He's still not entirely sure if he's found what he was looking for, but he feels that he's in the right place, and wants to use his ability to heal to help others who are in need. Still, there are those shadows that haunt him, that linger on the edge of his vision, that feeling of something ominous never far away.
He is in his early twenties, with a lean but athletic build that shows that he is no stranger to working out and physical activity, he moves with a kind of natural grace and balance that is usually seen in one who is trained in movement. His hair is cut short, and brushed to the side across his brow, a dark deep brown that matches the color of his eyes. His skin is fair, though in the summer months, bears a tan from working outside. He is not particularly tall, standing only 5'8" in height, but he does have a certain presence to him.
His clothing usually consists of hiking boots and jeans with layers depending on the weather. Sometimes he wears a simple t-shirt, usually with some sort of tongue-in-cheek graphic on it, and others he will wear a heavier pea coat in the colder months, and a sweater, to combat the chill that comes off the ocean in the small island community.
