The day started out sweltering and it only got more miserable from there. Not to mention tonight was the night for people to start talking about the Murray House and what's been going on. The empty office in Kosimar Psychiatry has been set up for a meeting. There are fresh baked goods on the table and there is a cooler filled with drinks. Even a few beers in there. A laptop is situated at the end of the table and there's a projector set up. Apparently slide shows might happen!
Minerva was waiting at the door to let everyone in after hours. The one eyed woman is looking a little paler than usual and her eye is filled with blood from one too many vessels being busted. She wears a smile all the same, "Come on in, we're going to be in the room over there." she points it out to everyone that comes in. She's dressed in red today, as opposed to her normal black. She was looking out for another to show up as well. A few minutes before the meeting is supposed to start a car pulls up and an average height man with a stocky build and long brown hair gets out and heads for the door. She gives the man a smile, "Hey, you made it." she smiles to him.
He on the other hand doesn't smile, but does give her a wave, "Hey, Irvriya. Figured I'd come and see what's up." he tells her. Then he's heading inside to have a seat at the table.
Cole arrives a little bit early for the meeting, so when they are let inside he finds himself a seat in one of the chairs that has been arranged after grabbing a soda from the cooler and a couple of the food items to nibble on -- no point in turning down free food if it's available.
Finch shows up with the rest of her little dysfunctional family of choice. August drove them all, grabbing her and Ignacio from work, and picking up Itzhak along the way. The quartet has bonded over the whole Murray House thing in recent days.
The short, blue-haired woman sticks nearest to Ignacio, as if he needs minding, or might be a good human shield if something goes sideways. Finch nods to Minerva. "Thanks for having us," she murmurs.
August arrives with a canvas bag of mixed berries (strawberries, salmonberries, marionberries) which he piles into a series of bowls and sets with the baked goods as a modest contribution. (More like, he is overwhelmed and can only make so much jam.) He nods at Minerva, says, "Thanks for putting this together," and settles into a chair next to Finch and Ignacio.
Isolde has been scarce lately. From the tanned skin and lingering scent of Lavender, she's been working up at the Lavender Farm quite a bit. She's back tonight though. At least for the meeting. Slinking in to the building and offering Minerva a little smile. "Are you okay?" Nodding to her eye - not something she saw a lot. She finds a spot next to Cole, nibbling on a cookie. Itzhack would get a wave when she saw him though. Wearing a pair of jeans and a white tank top with her usual ragged flannel.
Lyric arrives on foot as always and once at the door, she looks to where they are directed. With a bit of a skip in her step she waltzes over and goes inside. There's a look around at the others already gathered and gives a cheerful wave to anyone she recognizes. And pretty much those she doesn't too. Sliding into a seat she promptly props her elbows on the table top and rests her chin on her hands, fingers on each side of her cheeks.
Itzhak is fidgeting as he comes in with the other three in his...team? found family? bunch of dysfunctional idiots?, long fingers twitching as if he's imagining playing his violin. Probably he is. He cases the room, looking from person to person and making snap judgements. Cole, rescued that little girl. Easton, watched him drink himself under the table, awkward. Isolde, likes his pet blue-tongue skink. Lyric, also watched him drink himself under the table. Oy.
When he sees Minerva looking a little rough, his eyebrows pop up and he goes to her, bending his head to murmur to her. "Hey, you okay?"
Having made a pass by the building earlier, Easton doesn't enter right away with the crowd. Instead he's waiting for a signal of sorts. He is currently across the street in a nearby building, keeping an eye on who is coming in, his phone out in front of him. He's not surprised by the majority of the people showing up, it's the people who went exploring the house with him for the most part.
Ignacio mills in with that limp that's near a proper cowboy swagger save for the Spaniard would never wear the hat and muss the hair. You'd think he was holsting the thing with that easy, lop-sided grin and greetsMinerva, "I guess you're wondering why I called you all here today." He offers a hand out to Minerva, "Bitchin eyepatch. Seriously dig it and thanks." Looking to Cole he wades over offering a hand out to him, "Hey, thanks for returing those texts."
Minerva dips her head to people, "Thank you guys for coming." she tells them in her quiet tone. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just having some bad nights." she tells Isolde. Then she looks to Itzhak and she reaches out to give his arm a gentle squeeze, "I'm fine. Just a few rough nights. There's babka." she grins to that. There's a smile to Ignacio, "Thanks, I'll explain why I have it shortly." she muses. Then she heads to the end of the table and takes a seat by the mystery man. "Thank you all for trusting enough to come out. I know that the Murray House is not what people want to talk on sometimes, but it's good to know what's happened there in the past and what's going on currently and what we'd like to do in the future." she offers.
Finch digs out a soda and reaches for a pastry and a handful of berries before she slumps into a seat beside Ignacio. She listens as Minerva begins the meeting, a thoughtful expression on her face. "I'm guessing we were the only ones Skeletor visited in our dreams?" she asks the woman, a brow arching.
Cole waves to Lyric from wher he sits when she comes in, and then gives a bit of a smile to Isolde as well when she settles in next to him. There are nods of greeting to those he recognizes, as well. He sets down his drink nearby so that he can shake Ignacio's hand. His own is completely healed since the cooking class incident. "Hey, yeah, no problem. We can meet up and chat soon, if there's more stuff you want to talk about." When Minerva starts speaking, he turns his attention to her.
August watches people come in and take their seats. He looks askance at Finch, snorts. "Who I'm guessing was Mr. Murray?" he adds to her mention of 'skeletor'.
Remaining just like she is, chin resting in her hands, Lyric mostly just listens. Course most of these people saw her at her worse with the manbearpig thing so she's just laying low. The mention of the future of Murray House just makes her uneasy, but only her expression changes. She looks curious. Interested for sure. Belatedly, she notices the wave from Cole and smiles back to he roomie. "Hi Cole!"
Itzhak sets his big rough hand on Minerva's, his eyebrows all concern. He sits by her, unrelaxed, perching on the edge of the chair, jiggling his knee. No food or drink for him, yet anyway. "Yeah, accourse," he mutters when Minerva thanks everyone for coming.
Isolde watches the people filter in. Her free hand fishes out her phone, popping the last of her cookie in. She sets up the phone to voice record so she can capture the meeting and share it with Alexander and Easton. "How have you been?" Is asked to Cole and a bright smile is briefly offered to Lyric, remembering her from the Waffle Shoppe the other day, and of course the initial trek into the Murray house.
"Skeletor, I love that name for him, it's easier than trying to figure out his real name." Minerva admits as she looks around, her gaze falling on Itzhak for a moment. You mean...it's not Mister Murray?! Then she looks away, "The skeleton like figure that is in the Murray House is not one of the Murray brood. Nor do we know how he got there. What we do know is that he loves torturing people, especially children if he can get a hold of them. So if you have children, nieces or nephews...don't take them near the place." she points out. "Another thing we know is that he likes to take one child in, like keeping them." she states. "Mickey was one of those kids. I got trapped in there with something...and now there's been Amelia." she frowns.
Mickey? Isolde knows that name. Now she has a face to go with it.
Mickey gives a look around, "I'm sure that everyone that steps foot in the house will be visited, whether it's by dream or reality. Dream is his preferred method when his 'toys' get off the property." he sneers. "We've got a lot of new people with Glimmer coming into town. I think...most of you are new to us?" he asks as he looks around.
Waiting for the appropriate amount of time to tell if this is going to be a trap and he needs to call in reinforcements before storming the door, Easton waits, now outside the building smoking a cigarette. He wants to be close by in case something happens, but the fact that he can't sense anyone using glimmer at the moment in the building is probably a good thing. Unless they're all just gone. Oh. Suddenly Easton realizes there may have been a rather large flaw in the plan, that whole people just disappear to another realm in Gray Harbor thing. Thankfully the feed from Isolde comes up though and he breathes a sigh of relief as it looks relaxed and normal. At the door he works the bar open on the lock with a little Glimmer and lets himself into the building. He meanders down the hall, listening and finally entering the room late. He doesn't seem the least bit embarrassed to be interrupting or late, he mosies over to the beverages, finds a beer and cracks it open tipping toward the assembled group before finding a seat.
Ignacio nudges Finch's shoulder with his as he drops into a seat. Pointing to Easton, "Yeah I'm guessin Skeletor is Mr. Murry or whatever. I'm still callin that cabron 'Skeletor'." Looking back he looks around and plays it off as casual as he can be has to get the question out, "So is this a debriefing or an intervention or group therapy ooooor? Cause if I volunteered for somethin and it involves feelings there needs to be juice and a graham cracker in it." The debriefing comes and he ansers Micky, "Yeah. New... to be honest it's all pretty fucking new."
"The dreams he sent to us," Finch gestures to Ignacio, Itzhak, and August, "felt like threats. In some cases, they were out right threats. Anyone else experience them?"
Isolde straightens up a bit when Mickey is introduced. Focusing on the man intently as he speaks. "New to town, yes." She offers up. after Ignacio answers. She looks over, relaxing a little when she spots Easton. Glad he is here within eyesight now. A little nod of her head towards the empty seat near her. Then her gaze is back to Mickey. "I had a dream too. A little girl ghost trying to goad me back."
"He's not Murray?" Itzhak says, annoyed that his working theory was wrong. "Okay, well, whatevah, he's Skeletor forever now. I just wanna say what he told me in my dream. Because he actually talked to me, didn't just swing his dick around." He glances sharply over at Easton when the man comes in, going tense as a wire. But no, he knows him, saw Easton fight the same thing they did. Then he grunts. "Yeah, I'm new in town, big surprise there right?" Not with that classic New York Jewish accent of his.
"Hi Isolde," Lyric smiles to her but then the talking starts so hers stops. As she listens, she clasps her hands together instead of resting her chin on them, and she looks very interested in what is being said. Now, Mickey doesn't really look familiar to her, but he's wrong about one thing. "I lived here forever. I've never been anywhere else."
"Been okay," Cole says to Isolde, but his focus seems to have shifted toward the discussion about the Dreams, and the skeletal figure. He nods toward Mickey as well, indicating that he too is new in town. "Yeah," he then says to Finch. "I couldn't move, in mine, and when I woke up, it felt like he had been there.. sitting on my legs holding me down."
"Not Murray," August echoes, sounding surprised. He bites his lip, folds his arms. "So, something or...someone else." He turns that over in his head. Belatedly, he says to Mickey, "Been here about three years." He follows Itzhak's gaze to Easton, but likewise relaxes when he recognizes him. "I guess the important question is...what happened in that house originally? To the Murrays? Aside from," he makes a face, "what Itzhak saw."
Easton's face looks like it's still healing from the car accident, but that's way too long to heal, right? He takes the seat next to Isolde and gives Cole an upnod of his head. When Itzhak speaks, "Oh goodness I don't want to think about that things cock." He noticed the tension when he came in and is hoping a good dick joke (or at least a dick joke) can alleviate some of that. "I got the joy of enduring wrecking my jeep again in a Dream, so that was great." Which explains the bruises on his face. "And yea, I'm pretty new around here."
"Whatever it is. He's poisioning the house and the people who live in it. I want to burn it down, but Minerva said you can't. That it just comes back." Isolde pushed a hand through her hair. A brief examining of Easton's face to see how it's healing before falling quiet again to listen.
Ignacio named the evil bad thing something cartoonishly amusing. He's not even opting to hide how pleased he is pop culture lives. The talk of the dreams though puts that mask back in place honing in on the details. His eyes shift to the bossman, then Easton, then Cole. Conversationally he says to Finch, "It's not Mr. Murray." Which might be shock in smart-ass but all other portents suggest the humor exists to play down the concern. "Yeaaaah, Cole. Same. I couldn't really move that I can remember because I was too busy not being able to breathe like my ribs were being crushed like a beer can."
Mickey gives a nod, "Nightmares that are threatening are generally a thing that the denizens of the house will send out. Skeletor is...a big ass bully when it comes down to it. He slaughtered a woman and her daughter when the Murray's were living there in the early 1920's. I'm guessing that's what Itzhak has seen." he admits. "If you hurt him he will focus on you. Go after your friends, family. Anything that you care about." he tells them. "We made little information packets for people to take home and read over, just so you'd have the complete history." he states. Then he shakes his head, "No, the black skeletal figure isn't Mister Murray, Mister Murray rarely makes appearances." Mickey tells them. "What needs to be done is a long term process, but it would 'cleanse' the house enough to be burnt down. Because honestly, no one needs to live there ever again and the spirits need to be put to rest." he states. "The problem is, finding someone powerful enough to null the rooms." he frowns.
"Itzhak saw a finch in a cage. Myself and others saw a finch get crushed by his hand. I, am guessing, he's really pissed at me," Finch notes with a worried expression.
August frowns. "W--hang on. Are you saying people live there, right now?" He looks like he's having trouble believing that. "Or do you mean, the people he--it--traps there?"
"It definitely seemed like something else was there, too," Cole says. "Something was watching us.. what I saw was when we went in there to save Amelia, but I saw it from a different perspective, and it's almost as though something was -- taking notes on us." He then turns to Mickey and says, "What about the girl, the one that Lyric saw as we were driving away that freaked her out the first time." He glances over toward Lyric then back toward Mickey. "Who was that? Because Amelia got out. Are there more children stuck in there? Are they part of the spirits that are still there?"
"I wonder which Addington went in and made him mad at their family for them to keep dying." Lyric shrugs, she's not close to anyone of them so it's really not her concern, but she mentions it as an idle curiosity. "I'd like to read what you brought, but what does someone need to do and can several together team up and put their powers together?"
Itzhak's expression, not all that cheerful to begin with, goes sour as a good pickle. "Yeah. That's what I saw. A woman and a little girl." That they were dead, he doesn't feel the need to reiterate. "One other thing. He told me I'm the only one's hurt him for a while. Someone else did, too, a kid maybe? He said a little one. So now he's really got it out for me." Itzhak falls quiet, thinking, lip curling. "And he said it's his house. His children. So you see where I got the idea it was Murray."
Isolde looks towards Cole when he mentions the notetaking. "Maybe it was the ghost woman who attacked us the first night?" She theorized. Then looked back towards the others. Listening about the clensing. Nodding towards Lyric's suggestion of people pooling powers. "I don't have very much in the way of the glittery things. But I can definitely help with the burning down."
"I had a similar experience," August says, nodding at Cole. "In the nightmare I was pulled into the hole, and something was down there with me." He makes a face. "Like I'd been buried, which has me wondering if there are people buried down here." He tips his head towards Lyric. "Right--what do you mean by, 'null' a room?"
Minerva watches the door for the moment when Easton comes in and there's a smile, "Hello." she waves. Then she looks to Mickey as he speaks and then gives a moment of silence before she takes over, "So the big players that are in the House are Skeletor, Pamela Murray, Annie...who is in the room with all the handprints and things." she admits. "Mister Murray also keeps to the upper floor. So if you've had experiences up there I'm guessing it might be him." she tells the room. "So...who put the whole in the floor? Any of you guys?" Min asks as she sits forward a little and takes a drink of her water. "The Murray place has been empty for years. No one lives there." she points out. "And I'm guessing if it was seen outside that it was Pamela. She...isn't something that hurts, but she will make you hurt yourself if she sneaks up on someone...or they look in mirrors." she admits. Though she looks to Lyric, "We could probably put enough power into it, but the time is short when it happens. So it would need to be a lot of people." she states.
Minerva looks to Itzhak, "If Skeletor visited you and said that, he's always been VERY possessive of the house and the people he collects. Mickey got out. I did as well. But we both pissed him off when we were children." she frowns. She looks to August, "So once you get powerful enough with the hoodoo that we can do there are those of us that can basically close off a room to the Veil and other intruders. Think of a panic room against the things that go bump in the night." she explains.
August nods at Minerva. "How do we know if we can do that?" he asks, arching an eyebrow. "I mean, I'm sure there's a lot we can do that we don't know we can do. If you take my meaning."
In response to her question about who put a hole in the floor, August points at Itzhak, expression bland.
"Itzhak made the hole in the floor when he brought the roof down on that thing. I just set it on fire," Finch notes with a small smile. Face it, that felt GOOD.
"How old was Annie, canse my dream was of a baby. Well, a little older than that. A .. uh. Toddler." Lyric doesn't have kids, she doesn't know what they are called! "In my dream, I was falling in a hole in the floor." The idea of them doing it together has merit and she considers it. "All of us together maybe." Considering something, she says. "I can open a way in to the veil, but to get out, I have to find the sawmill from inside the veil. It's not easy."
Itzhak flushes a little across his proud nose. He scratches the back of his neck. "Uh, yeah. Yeah, that was me." That was him who ripped down whatever was above the thing crawling down the stairs, in a fit of panic. Yyyyyyep that was him. "I ain't used to bein' so strong," he mutters.
At the question of who put the hole in the floor Easton tenses just slightly. He winces a bit as Finch gives out the information, but keeps quiet otherwise. Look, he's not sure this isn't some weird reverse information gathering thing. Who the hell knows in this town. His jaw continues to clench when people volunteer what they're capable of doing. He watches Minerva and other man carefully for their reaction, and stays quiet himself.
August makes a low sound, nods at Lyric. "Right. I know I can...amplify, I guess you'd call it, other people. So even if we don't have anyone powerful enough on their own, that might work." He glances at Mickey and Minerva, to see what they make of that.
Ignacio looks over to teh other New Yorker in teh room and shrugs, "Murray by Proxy. I think it's a psychological condition. I told him, man, Skeletor, ya need help, bro. DO he listen?" Shaking his head he mumbles to Finch, "Ya know they never listen t'me." He pauses and looks to Isold comisserating, "You and I bog , sister. I'll bring the gasoline, you bring the matches. They can super kung fu fight the thing?" He listens and watches shifting in his seat trying not to look uncomfortable. "SOoo what if we can't do... stuff and he's still pissed? We know how we can help? I mean teh girl on teh lawn sounds like a hoot. I'll be happy t' talk to her if you want."
Cole looks a little surprised when Lyric says she can make an opening into the Veil, that news apparently coming as news to him, his eyes widening a bit slightly. "You can? Wait.. I thought you weren't supposed to go near the saw mill.."
"Oh, so he's the reason I almost broke my neck." Minerva gives a laugh at that. Then there's a soft smile to Itzhak, "Just teasing really." she tells him. "Fire is a good thing that works against old Mister Skeletor, but I don't know how to /kill/ him. Or what exorcism to look up." she frowns. "So keep up with the fire thing." she nods to that. "It's...hard to gauge just /how/ powerful we are. I have tried. I can feel that I'm almost there." she admits. "Mickey is closer though." she nods. "If people want to get together and try a test run I'm all for it, but never go in the house alone. Under any circumstances." she gives a pleading look with that one eye.
"Annie is about...6 or 7. But she's stuck there because of when she died." she states.
Mickey gives a look between people, "A group effort would be good. I think at least taking a stand as a group might scare Skeletor." he states. "And I think that he was a very unhealthy individual when he was alive." he nods to Ignacio. "Being able to open the veil is impressive and also dangerous. There's things on the other side that will eat us." he frowns.
"I'm willing to give that a shot," August says to Minerva. "I'll leave you my number, just say when." He blinks at Lyric, mirroring Cole's surprise. Two-fold, as he's not entirely sure he understands what they mean by 'Veil'.
Finch nods to Minerva. "If you call Roen, he knows how to find me. I'm in if you need me."
"Is that what skeletor is?" It's the first time Easton's talked all meeting, but at the mention of things on the other side of the veil that will eat them he can't stay quiet. "Something from the other side?" Just because he's not wanting to freely share information about himself or what the others here can and have done, doesn't mean he isn't into information sharing. It just happens that he's looking for more of a one way street right now.
"And it should go without saying, but if anyone wants to take another shot at this place. That thing. I'm in."
Isolde nodded emphatically. "Definitely up for trying again. Skeletor is a bad thing and needs to be stopped."
"I didn't even know I was supposed to go to the sawmill until I was stuck in the Veil with no way out. When I got there, I had to fix it. I almost had it. Well I kinda had it. I mean it ran long enough for me to get out and I had a cog from it in my hand. I almost brought it with me but instead, I dropped it just on the other side, so if I get stuck in there again I can get out again." Lyric looks at Cole, "Am I not supposed to?" Then to August.
Cole nods his head, "I'm definitely in to go back there and see if we can stop what's going on there. No more kids should have to go through what Ameila and the others did." He then shrugs to Lyric, "I thought that's what you said when we were at the Waffle Shoppe.."
Ignacio watches them speak and says to Micky, "That doesn't really answer if we know what people who can't hadoken can do." He pauses and considers objectivly waving a hand, "Hadocan't?" Sure that works. He watches the plan start to build or at least the edges of identifying things and says, against logic, "Easton right?" Eyebrow arches, "Don't go alone. I'm in if you want to poke around." Cajones of rock on this guy apparently...or a brain of one.
On a wry smile, August says to Lyric, "To be brutally honest, I don't know that I totally understand what you mean. Sure sounds like you can...go wherever it is you went. So maybe some of the rest of us can too."
Itzhak stands up abruptly. The tension in the room is clearly getting to him. He mutters something about a smoke break and heads outside in long strides.
Minerva gives a bit of a nod to them, "As a child that was stuck in the Murray House, I don't recommend it for anyone. Amelia is doing very good with coping with things." she admits. Then to Ignacio, "If you don't have Glimmer or powers that doesn't mean you can't help. Faith and prayer are just as powerful objects." she smiles to that. "Plus keeping friends checked in on." she adds. Then to August, "You know that tall furry thing that ghosted us? It disappeared into the Veil." she tells him. "Think of it as...like an alternate plain. Like a realm of it's own." she tells him. Itzhak's abrupt departure makes her look after him, but she doesn't follow.
"I never could before. But that was the night I learned how to go.. where I went. There were these little odd creatures that were musicians. They were so funny. And a bird that was an octopi. With a curved beak. It was all really very strange." Lyric has gone off on her own tangent so she reins herself in. "I would like to help if I can."
Finch watches Itzhak go with a worried expression as she sips from her soda. "There's another thing we should consider though. If we all put our shit together and ramp up to some epic Voltron level of power we might also bring more attention on us from things over there."
August grunts, nods at Minerva. "No wonder we couldn't find it," he mutters. He looks askance at Lyric, asides, "I guess that means you may need to teach other people how to do that." Because the obvious thing to do, was follow the manbearpig into the Veil and finish it off, right? Right.
Seeing Itzhak get up, August does as well, murmuring to Finch, "Text me anything else major, yeah?" and follows him.
Cole glances up and over as Itzhak gets up and flees the room. "He does that a lot," he observes to no one in particular. "Is he okay?" Then August is following after, and he seems a little less concerned, since someone at least is checking up on the guy. He glances over toward Finch when she mentions using their abilities drawing attention to them. "Is that..a thing?" He honestly doesn't know.
Ignacio arches an eyebrow to Minerva. "You ain't givin me a lot to work with here. I'm good with people. That's about it." Looking to Cole he offers a slow nod, "Stress man. He's working on figuring out how to tell Skeletor where he can stick some sunshine, man."
"Are you suggesting we could use fuckin' holy water?" No, the contradiction of swearing and sanctified water is not on purpose, Easton's just that crass for the most part. He is also a little incredulous at the thought that 'hopes and prayers' might do anything to fight monsters. When Finch brings up her point and Cole asks, he just nods. "It's a good point. I don't know what 'null' a room or place means, but the less we do with Glimmer? The better off we'll be. Won't do anyone any good to dust Skeletor only to attract a worse replacement."
Minerva gives a look to Ignacio, "Can you figure out how much excellerant we'll need to burn down a big ass old house and not get arrested by the cops?" she asks him. "That would help greatly on the non power wielding." she tells him softly with a smile.
Min then looks to Easton, "No one said anything about holy water, but having some sort of faith or hope or something generally helps to keep going." she admits. "And I'm not trying to be all 'God will get you through'. It's not like that for this situation. But sometimes it helps people to cope." she explains.
Ignacio warms a lopsided grin to Minerva folding his arms across his chest. "I absolutely can. Just because I'm a good cook doens't mean I ccan't burn things. I'll bring the all-spice, some mint so when it goes up it'll at least smell nice." Is he serious? He coniders and adds, "Or just put a ton of weed in teh basement then the cops won't care. S'all good."
It's not that Easton's against faith! Honestly. It's just that he's more of a shoot at problems than pray about them type guy. He nods at Minerva and says, "Okay. Yea, sorry, just trying to figure out how all this works." He then glances at Ignacio with a quizzical look. Powerless? That... doesn't seem right. He forces his face back to neutral, because hey maybe someone has the good sense to not just blurt out what they can do against the enemy when they don't know that much about the woman that just happened to organize this. The comment about weed makes his neutral look crack into a wry smile though, "It's not the worst idea. Dump some grow lights in the basement, some weed and then light it all up." Hey, if the veil can offer valid reasons for supernatural things, why can't they take a page from it's playbook.
"That's not the worst idea I've ever heard," Cole says, and then slowly gets up to his feet. He grins over at Ignacio and says, "Text me when you want to meet up." He then looks over to Lyric curiously, "When you get some time, I'd like to ask you some more about how you manage to get across voluntarily. You need a ride home?" Because he has his car.
Ignacio looks to Easton as the smile hits his eyes. NOW he get it. "Spontanious meth lab mockery. Cops stop askin questions. Saw it on Breaking Bad. Amazing what being laid up and watching a ton of Netflix can do for ya."
Lyric also gets to her feet and smiles at Cole. "I could use a ride, but I don't mind walking. Maybe someday you can go walking with me. It'd be kinda fun." She takes the packet with her and will follow him out when she's ready, waving at anyone else left in the room.
