Morrigan

SAR: Morrigan has been with the local Search and Rescue since she was in her early 20's.
Swimmer: Morrigan gets sent out in some of the nastiest weather to rescue people.
Glimmer: Barely, she's got a bit of that shine, but it's really low.
Sharks: ALL. THE. SHARKS.

Morrigan Caine is a local. She's part of the Caine family that's lived in Gray Harbor for ages. Her father was a fisherman and her mother was a house wife. She grew up with two older brothers, leaving her not only the girl of the family, but the youngest. Her brothers just treated her like a boy though. Telling her that she needed to be strong to survive. She learned to fight, fish and a myriad of other things from her brothers. Her mother used to roll her eyes at that.

When she was eight, they were out on their dads boat and there was a storm that rolled through. It ended with it sinking and Morrigan almost drowned, but that wasn't before a scare with a shark. And not a small one. A big one. When it came close Mo was able to injure it...somehow. It was just the tiniest cut, but the shark buggered off to some other parts. due to that weird glimmer induced scratch. She got really lucky. Her mother however did not. Her body was never found and it's something that still haunts Morrigan.

That's what started her fascination with the large creatures, the ocean and learning to save people. She trained more in swimming as soon as she could start after that fateful day. It guided her in what she was going to do in life. By the time she was 25 she was almost a Master Diver. She passed up a job with the Coast Guard to work with Search and Rescue though.

Which most are quick to tell her was STUPID. She wanted to stay in town though.

Today she teaches diving and has mastered the certs. She keeps on top of the newest diving gear and things of that nature. Wanting to stay on top of those she's helping to train and keeping herself fresh. When the police need a body recovered from the water it's not uncommon for her to show up with the SAR team. It's what they are trained to do!

On the surface, the fire-haired woman appears to be a living porcelain doll just above average height. Her calmness and poise of motion and bearing combine with clear sapphire eyes to mold a beatific face as calm and serene as a Zen garden in winter. Her almost ethereal features, timeless and with the gentle slopes and contours of the Celt, requires no artificial pastes nor unguents to augment its natural, timeless beauty. Lips kissed rose by Nature are quirked almost perpetually in a somewhat bemused, often thoughtful half-smile.

Her lithe frame, suggesting the toned and graceful physique of a dancer or swimmer, is clad in well-worn denims that look as though they've got their own little shrine in her closet. Pair those with plain t-shirts and tennis shoes and that's her usual day to day wear.
