Roxy
When Roxy uses her Mental Aspect to communicate with others, or those with similar aspect view her Glimmer, she appears as a pure white doe, with a crown upon her head that has aspen branches forming antlers, leaves and flowers blooming among them. There is a timid, skittish essence to this creature.
Roxy was a resident of The Asylum for two years, from 2015-2017. She was admitted at 18 after having a seeming nervous breakdown (in actuality the advent of her Glimmer and Mental aspect). She was released at 20, and came to awareness at a bus stop in Oregon. In the Asylum Roxy had long hair, and smoked cigarettes to try and calm her horrific fears. She came in extremely thin (she was a ballerina) but gained weight over the course of her stay to a healthier weight, but also lost some of her muscle tone she'd had from a lifetime of rigid dance training.

Javier can be kind or terrifying in equal measure. Roxy feels indebted to him for coming to her rescue a few times, and has asked him to teach her to shoot a gun so she can defend herself from at least the mundane dangers of Gray Harbor.
Joseph is her dance partner, business partner, and friend. They own Dance Evolution together where they teach ballet, and he gave her an addition income stream being the ring card girl at Fight Clu- er - the Bake Sale. He has come to her rescue before.
Timothy has provided Roxy with her new solid identification, papers, and electronic paper trail. He is also hiring her to pose for the figure drawing classes he teaches, giving her an alternate stream of income. Very kind.
Joe and Roxy spent time in the Asylum together, where she snuck in to read to him at night, after his arrival, to help him acclimate. With his arrival in Gray Harbor they have struck up a friendship from their shared trauma and lack of clear memories from Over There.

Roxy was a ballerina in Finland. She had started dancing from the age of 4, and by 16 she was with a company, traveling the world. She was destined for stardom until the company came to the United States, and visited an area where the Veil was thin. She glimmered, and she had a breakdown. She was placed in an Asylum, THE Asylum. She escaped two years later, with few memories of that place or how she got out. Wwith her family having thought her dead, and having none of her paperwork with her, she was now stuck in the US, and haunted by nightmares of being chased endlessly through a wooded landscape on the other side, hunted by horsemen and hounds and hawks. She was the white stag to their wild hunt, and it was harrowing. She became a runner, a swimmer, a climber, and a stealthy concealer in those dreams, and learned them in reality.
She turned to exotic dancing to pay her way to a place she felt drawn, Gray Harbor, Washington. There she took a position at the Boardwalk beach as a lifeguard, and looks to join the ranks of dancers at the local strip club.
Standing 5'6", this woman is clearly of Scandinavian heritage. her pale skin and bright blue eyes speak to her ancestry, and her jet black hair makes both stand out. her hair is in a shoulder-length bob with straight bangs, her lips are painted a deep red, and her makeup is glamorous. Her skin bears no markings, no tattoos or piercings, and she dresses in vintage clothing of a 40s and 50s vein.
