Born and raised on the Yakama Indian Reservation in Washington as a part of the Yakama tribe. With marginally limited options on the reservation, and against her parents wishes for her to stay, Isi made it her goal to leave and chose education as her way to do it. A full ride scholarship to the University of Washington for a degree in accounting followed by a federal loan funded graduate program at Columbia in public affairs seemed like the best options. Upon graduating she got a job in the city tax department in Seattle only to realize less than a year after the move that she vehemently hated the city. HATED IT. She'd always taken the ability to get out into the wild as a much as she wanted as par for the course, and her college days allowed that with their more open schedules and breaks. With a load of debt hanging over her though, just leaving off without a job wasn't an option. She started shopping around for something smaller and closer to her hobbies (that would still allow her to make payments). The advert for a job in city hall in Gray Harbor working in the auditing department seemed perfect. She applied, got the job, and made the move.
As an outsider she doesn't have the faintest idea about the Glimmer or anything else strange.
Rich tawny skin is the canvas upon which Isi is drawn. She has deep black hair that sweeps over a wide forehead. It hangs to just mid back when it isn't swept up into a high pony tail. She has the body of someone who enjoys the outdoors, though she wouldn't ever be called particularly athletic. Long eyelashes cover brown eyes, but any particular claim to beauty is overridden by a slightly larger than average nose and thin lips. It also helps that she generally doesn't bother with makeup.
