Mariah
One of the regulars at the Pourhouse.
He texted when Hank posted that I needed a date. And he was a bit of a surprise. I think I'd like to see where things go.
She's new to Gray Harbor. Hoping she'll stay around for a bit.
- Pourhouse - Mariah owns the place. No one knows how such a pretty girl got shacked up with such a shifty place.
- Bartending - She knows her stuff.
- Glares - Hers are legendary.
- Single - She was dating a local Chemistry teacher, but he disappeared. She's looking to get back into the dating pool.
Mariah is a townie. Her parents were not rocket scientists and she herself is smart, but she doesn't do so well with eloquent poetry and things of that nature. She's just your average American woman who is trying to make ends meet. She is the owner of the Pourhouse. A place that is frequented by the towns Sawmill workers and other blue collar folks. This is not a place for the faint of heart, nor the person looking for a 'nice romantic evening'.
She has her Bachelors in Business Management. She barely made it through college due to money strains. She wasn't one of those kids who got a scholarship or who had parents who could pay her way through. She was just clawing and scraping by. She's used to that situation, but the bar does OK. Thankfully. She doesn't ever expect to be rich. Or find a Prince Charming.
And then there's 'The Glimmer' she has it. She doesn't particularly like to use it, but sometimes it's handy. Sometimes it's a shit show. But her mother and father were too drunk to notice things. She had been having dreams of her grandmother dying. She couldn't help her. But she would try her hardest. A few months later the dreams had stopped and she was at school...that's when she got called to the office and her parents were there. Her grandmother had died, in just the manner she'd been dreaming about. It absolutely floored the girl.
But that was years ago.
Her life is still a bit of a mess, but she tries to make the most of it. She's not had the hottest track record with people she's dated either. Which as far as small towns go, the pickings are slim. SLIM I TELL YOU!
This stunning woman stands at 5'4" without her shoes on. Her angelic platinum blonde hair is full of life as it wends down past one smokey eye and down along her high cheekbone as it crashes down in waves to a spot just below her waist. Even without the makeup, her brilliant green eyes would shine like gems. above her strong nose, lush lips, and firm chin. She tends to dress in clothing that is easily cleaned or easily tossed should blood get on the fabric. Her job is not a glamorous one and sometimes drunks need to be kicked out. With a fight.
