Seattle PD & FD - Seattle-born, Sutton and her brother ran in SFD & SPD respectively. Did you know her or her brother Elias? From about 2011 to 2018, they were both working the big city. In 2018, PO Elias Sutton was killed in the line of duty, and that's pretty much what prompted her move. Are you from Seattle? Seattle PD? Let's talk.
Ride! - Weather & off-time permitting, you'll find her on a 1966 Triumph BONNEVILLE T120R taking long drives. Wanna be riding buddies?
Outdoorsy - Sutton prefers to workout outdoors, running Tough Mudders (with moderate success), climbing, doing weekend obstacle courses, and practicing parkour. She's all about the efficiency and climbing things, and has been since she was young (it has always irritated everyone to varying degrees). She can't do it right now, owing to recovery, but she will. Want to join? Maybe we're competition.
Dispatch - She's sometimes voice on the radio for first responders, dispatching the last couple of months after an injury took her off the rotation (May/June). (She has since recovered and gone back to EMS, but covers over when dispatch is short staffed and she's off duty with Fire.) Most of her time is spent on the police channels directing officers to various scenes. She does like to dispatch off beat, when things are jammed up, to clear those runs. Wanna take issue with that? Want to be friends? Frenemies? Are you a cop she talks to all day long?
H. Everly Sutton was born in Seattle, WA to an ex-pat endurance athlete (English) and a career Marine (American). From her father, she learned the importance of service and self-defense, and from her mother persistence and discipline. Of course it was her (4 minutes) older brother who taught her the importance of partnership and a willingness to break some rules, and also, later, how to drive a motorcycle. Elias Sutton was her partner in crime, her sparring partner, and her best friend until his death in the line of duty in 2018. Her brother was patrol with Seattle PD. She struggles deeply with his loss.
While her brother was enamored of the lights and guns and flash that came with peacekeeping, she walked into the arms of the fire department without a second thought. She met a paramedic in high school on two occasions. She saw them ease pain, save multiple lives, and basically handle anything thrown at them. Sutton transitioned from uni to emergency medicine after less than a year of higher ed. She went through from Basic EMT and up, loved it, and stayed on through her certs and eventual quals to Paramedic. For almost seven years, the Sutton twins helped keep the city safe, and their parents were exceedingly proud.
In the wake of Elias' death, Sutton made the difficult decision to move on from Seattle, but not too far, to somewhere smaller, a little less fast paced. It wasn't long after arriving in Gray Harbor that she was injured in the line of duty, and has been working on loan with dispatch in the city's call center while she awaits her return to the GHFD's EMS unit. She's made friends with several of the city's finest this way, and though she enjoys her time on the radio, she's looking forward to transferring back to Fire and active duty ASAP.
Sutton is a 5'4" blonde with straw-colored highlights and warm-honey lowlights, sun-kissed skin, and hazel eyes, brown ringed with green. She has an athletic build, slim and toned. Her face carries a slight roundness in fuller, high cheeks, which lend a youthfulness to her features. Her eyes are framed in thick dark lashes, slim liquid liner, dark brows arched over them, shoulder-length hair falling in loose waves. Her lips are full, usually touched with matte crimson lipstick. She has a small beauty mark to the right of her lips, perhaps a half-inch up her cheek. She tends toward a smokey, earth-toned eye makeup, accentuating the warmth of her eyes. When she speaks, it's with a faint accent, slightly English around the edges.
The blonde wears a floor-length dress, ivory fabric in classic 20s shape, deep V-neck, and intricate hand-beading. She wears a silver headband ornamented with beads and pearls. Tattoo:Sutton wears a full left sleeve tattoo in black and grey, extending from the top of her shoulder to just above her wrist where pine needless and pinecones cap it. The tattoo itself is dominated by a fox, muzzle tipped up a full moon, with birds in flight in the branches of a fruit-bearing tree, moonlight shining down on the night-time scene. Scar:Often visible is a scar over her left collarbone, trailing edge peeking out from under most of the necklines she favors. It is an old surgical scar, and has thoroughly settled. Probably something from her teenage years. It's barely noticeable unless you're type to really look at her.
