Law Enforcement: He's the Chief of Police in the local precinct.
Out of Towner: He rolled in from Arlington, Virginia, following a strange set of circumstances involving his wife and child. Probably wouldn't take too much digging to figure out what happened, though rumours abound.
Speaks Spanish: He speaks it fluently, and those familiar with regional Mexican flavours might recognise Tijuana gutter trash in his accent, no matter how much he tries to hide it.
Former Military: He served in the US Marine Corps for a number of years as a scout sniper, most notably in Afghanistan and Iraq following 9/11.
Glimmer: He shines strongly, like a bonfire in the dark.
Slightly under six feet in height, he has some bulk in his arms and shoulders, some softness to his midsection, but overall looks like he's no stranger to physical work. Dark, curling hair has started to thin slightly at his temples, though hasn't yet started to turn grey; unlike the patches of it in his close-cropped beard. His face is all hard, blunt lines and almost brutish aspect bisected by an aquiline nose and oft-unsmiling mouth. His eyes are an odd shade of hazel that shift to green or grey depending on the light.
He's dressed in a ratty black tee shirt, fitted dark jeans shoved into half-laced combat boots. In inclement weather, a leather jacket or ball cap might be tugged over top.
